  1. Yeah they do - but it would be a big advantage if you had some experience from previous jobs. It's a "small" (60 employees) company with it's own TM department. Just send me a PM if you want their info.
  2. But the big question here is; which of these posts will be your next sig?
  3. Actually.. what really happened was that 3 cats living in his basement were subjected to a very potent form of radioactiv waste.. causing them to develop superpowers. Walsh has since quit both as a mod and his daytime job, to teach these kittens how to fight crime and beat up creditors.
  4. The Day The Earth Stood Still. You know what would've made this movie really epic? If it had ended with this song.
  5. I know a good job here in Copenhagen, where you can work half time and get a good salary.. it's Telemarketing, but it's a cool company and the product is very solid (so you don't feel like an idiot trying to sell it).
  6. The Danish economy is actually doing ok, so I'm not affected (yet). But I hear that a few people (or alot, depending on which kind of education they have) in the 20-30 year range are having a hard time, because companies are more inclined to keep their talented workers rather than training new ones fresh out of college.
  7. No More Heroes is a pretty cool game for the wii.. it's like a wacky GTA/Assassin/Jedi game.. I've had many hours of fun with it, but I think it's the kind of game you either love or hate..
  8. It was rubbish, but that the fun of it I think.. It was Bioware's April Fools release, which makes it a little more fun.
  9. It was funny. I had a great moment much like that, except I went the ninja assassin route. I would stalk the goons and take 'em out one by one. Until there was only one guy left. I then crawled along roofs to get right above him and waited there. He heard a noise (as I moved) and just started screaming and rambling.. it was quite hilarous really.. Then I dropped down and shot him in the stomach and left him to die alone and afraid..
  10. I had a suspicion actually. Because the background seemed similar (or was described in a similar way) - it's funny, but great as well.. there's no reason why you can take some aspects or ideas for one game and use them in another. Since it's the same modders, it's not even stealing ideas. A Katana, in the vanilla game? No I haven't..
  11. I didn't find the long dialouge that bad.. I hate those beggars and the mentally ill roaming the streets alot worse..
  12. Looks like you are having fun ... are you using any mods? I've been trying a few, this is the Beta of a mod called "The Peloponnesian War" .. which is set during the Classical Greek times. Since it's beta it still uses the old maps and there are some bugs, but I feel pretty Alexander'ish when I'm riding in war looking like this.
  13. For real? I didn't know that was possible... heh
  14. Good to know, I find it hard to find good advice on the web, so thanks for taking the time (paradoxplaza is filled with irrelevant info and the mods have absolutely no description.. I like to know exactly what changes the mods make).
  15. It is umodded - I didn't think any of the mods I could find seemed very interesting. Is there a particular good one we should try? (it has to work for MP) I see what you mean with Meretskov, I have the guy who gives me 25% manpower, but the 20% org. regain would be alot better! I guess I'll have to attack now then, so the US won't get germanies techteams (mine suck too).
  16. Oh yeah - that would be a cool twist... man you guys have a good memory of what happened in the previous seasons..
  17. We love you too Llyranor!
  18. The female bountyhunter? Yeah that makes sense.. He does seem to have played his hands - his wife is dead - his people are turning against him.. I'd be sorry to see him go, I thought he was/is an interesting character.
  19. Just started a HoI2 scenario with my roommate, he plays USA and I play the Soviet Union.. We start in 1939 and end in 1964, Democracies can start wars and Tech teams get assimilated - needless to say the Cold War has already started. I've taken some ahistorical turns, as I've modernized the military beyond what Stalin did, managed to defeat Finland in the Winterwar and are thinking about a preemptive strike on Germany (it's late 1940) - I know it's a little gamey, but I thought it might be quite interesting to have the actual WW2 be a fight between The Soviet Union and The Alliance - besides Germany has managed to really hurt England so far and I fear that the Isles may be invaded. USA has a mad economy and industry, my friend managed to really squeeze the potential out of the continent, so even if I conquer the Reich I think I won't really be able to match his, he has an effective IC of over 400 now , mine is around 250. I have a HUGE army though, bigger than anyone in the world, but it's mostly infantry - luckily I still have about 3mil. in my manpower pool - gotta love the endless horde of young Russians willing to serve the Mohterland! Japan has managed to defeat and annex all of China and her puppets (even Mao kneeled before the might of the Emperor) and now The Empire of the Sun holds a massive landmass, they will be quite a threat for me if they team up with Germany. But the question is if I go the historical way and let Germany attack or strike now, when I have the chance to conquer almost all of Europe. The great thing about this game is how active the AI suddenly has become, they use spies ALOT, take chances and generally outperform the historical versions of themselves - this is mostly true for the evil regimes unfortunately.. It looks like the Americas is gonna be the only one democracy in the world come the next decade.
  20. Hmm, never saw that - I thought they were "individual" as characters could have seperate movenment on either side of the face - like raising the left eyebrow etc. But I guess that doesn't have anything to do with textures?
  21. He's still in the future with Lipedus and Sun (who has knocked him out).
  22. Hopscotch? hmm I don't remember that part. Is it in the beginning? I remember challenging an evil alchemist in a math game Many good moments in that game - the writing/story is subtle, funny, sweet, sad and true epic at times.. One of the best games I've played I think..
  23. ^ Eh? Oh yeah .. I used the console command to get around that.. but yes, that was very stupid!
  24. Rented five films.. Seen: Death of a President - (not really that good, but I they did a pretty good job at making it seem real) Dawn of The Dead - (I like this film - maybe because I get the sense that the director at least tried to make it artistic, even if he failed.) About to see: Stolen Nation - (Never heard about it, but it seemed interesting) Empire of the Sun - (I saw this as kid and always wanted to see it again. Also I discovered that it's Christian Bale who plays the kid) Last King of Scotland - (Heard alot of good about it, but never got around to actually seeing it)
  25. Hah, never tried that before.. How annyoing.. I've encountered so many bugs and design flaws in games over the years that I honestly can't remember that many - I totally forget about 'em until new and similar problems arises. The most annoying design desicion, that I remember, however is something adherent in the Europa Universalis Series.. the so-called Ping-Pong armies.. Basically the problem is that rebels/enemies will come into your land with huge stacks - then be defeated to only a fraction of their size, but their morale is now so low that they will instantly loose and flee if they meet one of your armies (wihout loosing soldiers). So you can't destroy them (unless you know the tricks), they will just roam your country until they die from starvation, which takes a while. In EU2, I once had a huge empire that engulfed much of Europe, America and Asia, when suddenly rebels started becoming a problem.. I had huge armies stationed around the globe, so this wasn't a big problem (I thought) until 10 years later - when my armies were still chasing the 25+ small bands of rebels roaming and fleeing and causing more unrest.. until finally my entire empire crumbled before my eyes as new and huge stacks of rebels joined their ranks (rebels cause unrest by their presence). In less than 20 years my Empire was totally destroyed - simply because I couldn't, by design, encircle and destory the first dissident armies. This was later fixed, so now it isn't that big of a problem anymore - but I was quite furious at the time!
