  1. you don't say.. Burning Copenhagen
  2. ^ Ah yes, Imperium Galactica 2. Actually quite a good game for it's time. I always had the mind controlling ships, it was hilarious to have a fleet destroy itself. Did you get it to work in Windows 7? Because I can't seem to make it run.
  3. Obama is the antichrist - because he got a dog and Sirius the dog-star is somehow related to.. which means.. that he.. SATAN! You have to love the logic of these guys.
  4. I've got about 42 with just 10 guys, a beautiful and totally lucky streak. Hitting someone on the ground also counts (and gives the other goons a time to get up so you can continue).
  5. What game is that a reference to? I remember that character from somewhere. Edit: ah yes - the Psychonauts..
  6. Apology accepted - I still think it's a funny picture, but perhaps it would have been better under "random news" or the funny thread in WoT?
  7. Unfortunately no one really is. Of course the politicians have spent most of their lives getting to know the trade - while your average Joe is busy trying to figure out his work/speciality.. Asking someone to use their >8 hour spare time keeping tabs on the government is asking a lot and unfortunately (again) the press doesn't seem to do a good job either.
  8. And yet a conservative assessment says we will run out of "cheap" oil in 40 years.
  9. ^ True, lowering the price to 15-18 would seem reasonable in that case. But personally I think steam/impulse for instance, offers a much much better deal than most brick stores - for the same price I also get easy access to playing with friends, finding buddies to play with - and I can uninstall and install simply by deleting and downloading.
  10. That went to bribe Hurlshot obviously. I've had the last week off so I've been watching a lot of movies. I decided to do a Sci-Fi marathon Aliens 1+2, the Star Trek TNG movies, season 1 of Battlestar Galactica. Luckily the weather has been somewhat terrible, so I had an excuse to stay inside.
  11. Coupled with a rather underhanded law central and northern Europe passed - where the administration cost of handling asylum were to fall on the original country that the immigrant in question first arrived at.. and seeing as most immigrants always come from the south and move up - naturally Italy, Spain, Greece etc. got stuck with the bills.
  12. It'll probably be console exclusive. I really wanted to play RDR and LA Noire - but I refuse to buy a TV and PS3 just to do so.
  13. Perhaps we should rename this thread "European stereotyping"?
  14. I don't know about that - he raises some valid points.. I don't agree, but I appreciate that he took the time to sit down and write something coherent rather than "Iz gonna SUK! Lolz!"
  15. I use a mod which flags all companions as essential. You can probably find something here.
  16. Played coop Borderlands for 7 hours straight yesterday - it's actually a really fun game with friends. I played as Brick - and I usually loathe playing tank/brawler characters, but the berserk ability (and the ensuing incoherent babbling and mayhem) is hilarious. I think is a good representation of playing Brick. Edit: (thank you Deathdealer )
  17. If it was only easy to mod civ 4..
  18. I agree - and we will be keeping an eye out for personal attacks and flame baiting.
  19. That was uncalled for. Also, we care enough to be conservative - that should tell you a lot.
  20. heh - I've seen the one about Christianity before .. the Atheist one needs to switch out magic with coincidentally or something similar. It's atheism after all.
  21. The games I bought way back are not available it seems.. Well, just a lost a customer here then.
  22. Except in many cases (at least here) that service only lasted 6 months - after which you had to buy the game again.
  23. Bad choice of words - replace with "lean towards".
  24. Not entirely. But GDs advice sounds pretty good (I don't know very much about investments, but I did make a luckily guess once)
  25. Did you read your own link? I was arguing that going the diplomatic route does not equal being weak. And that your comment "Who is speaking about outright attacks?" seemed to indicate that Obama was somehow more of a problem because of this stance - or what were you trying to say exactly?
