  1. The very first beta video of update 2 shows this right at the end!
  2. Imo that's one of their weakest reviews. I thought the film was very honest leading up to release over what it was trying to achieve. It was an immediate prequel to ANH focusing on the stealing of the Death Star plans. I thought they pulled it off well, and anything that was derivative made sense, and any deviations additionally made sense. It's not surprising that things become less memorable the deeper into a franchise you get, but also the other older a viewer gets. I do think the first appearance of Vader in his lair was totally unnecessary and should have been cut. His reveal should have been the ending scene only.
  3. Probably a sidekick then, I doubt she'd be a companion.
  4. Most likely. As that is what the crew seems to be drawing from.
  5. I finally saw Laputa for the first time sometime last year. I did quite enjoy it. I found it to be curiously minimal however, and the world at large seemed far more simple and naive than other Miyazaki films. It's almost ideal, as if it was formulated to be an adventure distilled to its purest form. Without too many internal conflictions and ambiguities over the untimely hero's role. I also sort of felt like I was viewing a dream while watching it.
  6. Rogue One is truly a very good movie. I think as far as the classics go. ANH (VHS-cut) is probably the best film and probably can stand as a film masterpiece. ESB while great is a bit derivative, and doesn't quite have the same grand arc as the first. The opening of TFA (Before we meet HAN), is some of the best of all of Star Wars. Then it kind of misses the mark here and there for the rest of the film.
  7. The Oscar's are certainly far and above other award shows for what it's worth. The Grammy's for example are a complete sham.
  8. Red Dead Redemption 2 is Coming October 26th 2018 (Delayed)
  9. Bad trailer, might be alright. Hopefully half of those callbacks aren't even in the final film.
  10. Wow, that's awesome and I love twin-stick shooters. The engine/tech could go on to create really cool derivative things as well.
  11. I agree that if you desire some option that is beyond the scope of the game, you're left wanting. As far as Defiance Bay goes, I'm talking about which faction you align with, which leads to significantly different experience over that section of the game. It's always a trade off though, I think the further you get into a series the more you can play with multiple endings. Otherwise you might have to canonize certain one's early on to trim back the combinatorics of story progression. Maybe that's fine by you, to experience your desired ending, then have the sequel assume another. I guess that's quite realistic since some decisions are self-terminating. I personally am more into the journey than the destination, so that colors my opinions here. But I also enjoy devs telling a story to the player and getting to open ended can hurt the narrative. I really do want more choices with drastic impacts along the way in Deadfire, there weren't enough in my opinion.
  12. PoE actually handled it's main quest line prettly straight forward. I wish we have more options in differents chapters for PoE2. Take wastland 2 , for exemple. I could ally with the bad guys and turn against the rangers. Maybe bad example? You had those choices in Defiance Bay. Stories also need constants, using that choice for the ultimate villain wouldn't make as much sense in Pillars.
  13. I'd place a bad bet on that just to show them how little confidence I have that that's not the case.
  14. I wonder how much the Anthem delay has to do with Microsoft rearing it's acquisition head. The more they invest to do it right, the more they can inflate their future valuation. Plus they could argue a collaboration would increase the value even more.
  15. I was more interested in how the reputation that proceeds it casts concerns over Alexa's reporting. I feel Amazon's brutal market operations would attempt to offer accurate services to anyone who would constitute a bidder.
  16. Funny enough, Andrew Breitbart is behind both sites.
  17. I still can't believe they made him grow up in a bubble just so they could make a movie about reality tv show.
