From what I hear, in Ep 3 you see that he gets really good.

i agree shin, it woudl be, but GoA does have a poitn.. it has to be controlled somehow so that there would not jsut be a jumble of characters. At teh same tiem you shoudl feel a certain level of comradery with the other jedi. It should be liek teh clone wars or somethign but managable and not too out of control.

i hope they continue the story line, i thought hte star forge plot itsle fwas fin but the star maps got a bit dumb. the subplots were fairly interesting with you being revan and all, i hope they continue the story and when they make KOTOR 3 they fallow up withRevan or his son. Turn all the games into playable sequencial novels basically.

I saw the revan thing coming a mile away.. but mayb eim jsut more intuned with the force than you padawans.. i dont know.

OK maybe 100 jedi would be way too much but you get teh idea... i think it woudl be better if you fought some battels with other jedi outside of the party. GoA... i hate you <_<

The new levels are needed to accommidate the new powers and the new powers are needed to accomidate teh new classes (i.e. assassin and so on). So unfortunately hades, it would have been difficult to put the other options in the game because the powers woudl be disproportional to the amount of levels. So, after reading every argument against more Lthe only three actually make sense. 1) The addition of more levels would create some contradiction in the story line 2) too many levels would allow a player to master too many skills and powers 3) Unregulated leveling up in a final fantasy or Diablo format is stupid and iresponsible. If you want that type of game go by that not KOTOR. A jedi cannot gain infinite power and the game shoudl not allow that. The GARBAGE about the game becoming easier is ridiculous. The game coudl very well become harder and more complex with the addition of ten levels. But progress should most certainly be regulated, and there must be a limit. Unregulated leveling with an infinate amount of levels would be disasterous and lame. But not everyone who thinks the responsible addition of levels is neccessary is a lame power hungry noob. The arguments, which make sense, that are in favor of the addition of more levels are the following: 1) The addition of levels are needed to make room for the added force powers 2) a reasonable amount of levels (30 MAX, which need to be regulated) would be beneficial to the game, add some longevity and not turn create a god like character with infinite power. THrowing the choice of infinite leveling and unregulated leveling out teh window we are left with only two valid and reasonable opinions. 1)No, more levels because the way the system is based it woudl not work. 2) Ten more regulated levels becasue they are neccessary for teh further evolutoin of the game In my opinion the ideal leveling system would be a combination of levels and a progress bar. As you start the game you would be on level 1 and a padawan, in the middle of the progress bar you would be a Knight level 10 and by the time you reached level 20 and the bar was full you woudl be a jedi master level 20. You would not gain skills and feats at each level, but rather, as the bar increased you would gain the ability to chose a force power and a skill at certain intervals, but NOT NECESSARILY at each leve upl. Perhaps every half level you chose a force power and every level your stats would increase or visa versa. THis system would allow a slightly greater amount of force powers to be utilized in the game without bunking the 20 level based system. Also it would simulate more slow but steady progress and is at the same also flexible. Maybe it would look something like this. Padawon----------------------- Jedi Knight----------------------------Jedi Master [llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll ---------------------------------------------------------] CURRENT LEVEL: 8 JEDI KNIGHT Maybe every half centimeter you would learn a new force power and every centimeter you would level up and gain a new force power and stat increase. Just an idea.... Ill wait for the POsts telling me its Crap!!!

I thought it would be good if KOTOR had a big battle of say 100 jedi versus arelatively large number of sith or some other enemy. Well it doenst even have to be that, i just liek fighting a large number of sith, period. One of my favorite parts of KOTOR was crackign sith skulls in the starforge. But fight scenes woudl be better if you saw a greater number of jedi, especially OUTSIDE, your party fighting alogn side you against sith Jedi. Also, duels between sith and jedi should take longer i think, by the end of the game i coudl kill sith warriors with one flurry attack and that not fun or entertaining seeing guys doing flips around me and having long hard, but faced pace acrobatic duels is very entertaining Also i would have liked to see an awesome counsel member that is sort of a mace WInduh in KOTOR. THe counsel members, since the sith is crushing everyone, shoudl take a more active role in fighting i think, to fight alogn side them and other jedi would be great and they dont neccessarily have to be in your party.

Too bad teh game designers deemed it absolutely neccessarty for more levels... adn they are right with out them the added force powers feats and skill would be pointless

exactly einsteins theory said that matter cant accelerate to light speed BECAUSE "light speed an object woudl have an infinite mass and infinate gravity, which woudl require infinite energy' nothign can gian infinate energy so i assumed you would realize that. ANd btw, the question was directed towards the poster to explain lenght contraciton and time diolation to me mroe fully. For a black hoel to suck somethign in an object needs to cross the event horizon.

I tried, o how i tried, to be DS. I could not do it; i know its kinda of sad, but my consience woudl nto let me do bad things to the pixelated fictional characters(well not only my conscience the insesint naggin of Carth and bastilla didn't help). Even if the story line is not effected by EVERY single choice you make, choosing LS or DS adds a whole new dimension to the game and is one of its best features. -But i do nto want to fully disagree with you. I do believe an improvement woudl be more divergent and numerous paths of light and dark side, so that you dont feel liek 70% of your choices in dialogue are pointless.

i hate one long one short double bladed is ok, but only if your the only one in teh party using it. ergo, looks stupid if both you ANd batilla are using double bladed staff. I liek beating the game with 1 sabre, becasue overall it was teh most effective. But i might enjoy playign it again with a double bladed. Long and short looks stupid PERIOD so dotn even try to defend that! Single blade is effective cool looking and reliable. As for usign multiple crystals.. WHO CARES you will beat teh game anyway, you might as well pick a style that looks cool, casue they are all effective. Also double sided is coolest for darkside but is still pretty good for light side. Do you use the same color crystal in your double bladed as you do in your singel sabre? HAHA i believe i have a much firmer grasp than i did before very well explained. And i know know why this is the generally accepted solution to the twin paradox theory and i now believe this theory. However, for soem reason i can't shake the VERY sligh tpossibility that gravity can be used to solve the paradox although i know it ialmsot certainly doesnt becasue it would negate all of Einsteins work and equations. So what you have described makes the msot sense. You have succesfully aided my understanding the connection betwwen space and time [length contraction (which i furhter researched after u sent this) and time dialation]. Are you a physics major, professor, or a student who jsut took several courses in college?

BTW I too have thought about this, the EM field the original poster mentioned would radiat and not have definate peramiters. Theoretically, if the power source was strign enogh the sabre source would be liek the light of a flashlight and extend foward till it hit something. I used to this that if a personswung it they coudl cut through the center earth, casue there is nothing to stop teh EM field to stop extending. 0HHH)========= < such is the star wars light sabre. But a real life sabre woudl be 0HHH)================================================ getting weaker and weaker as you moved down teh blade creatign an inefective gradiant. THerefore we have thouroghly bunked your theory original poster and unless there is some way to FULLY shape the EM and defien ALL parameters both its shape and LEngth then a real life sabre could nto exist. woah. i Picked up the redone trilogy on dvd this weekedn, watched it and it was fine, they did not cut anythign out really so why is the whoel world pissed off about it? The truth is ur upset cause they changed ur memory, as a movie the revampments only made the movie better, sounds better, the space fightscenes are better, and as for the added digital scenes, so what they dont change the movie that much only add to it. Tell me where Im wrong

More levels are needed to accomidate th enew skills Imagine having 20 levels such as in teh old game, there are thirty new force powers, with only 20 levels you woudl only be able to use about 5 out of 45... what is the point, can soem one tell me what is the POINT; having all those powers but only being able to use about 5 or 10! I dont want a Jedi that has every skill mastered or that can kill his enemies with a force move and 1 use of master flurry, i jsut want options and diversity and the only way to brign that is with the addition of levels regardless of what previous games had. WHo cares if palpatine was level 20, having Kotor does nto necisarrily have to be on the same scale. maybe a level 20 yoda in a previosu game is the equivalent to a level 60 jedi master in KOTOR 2. All I am saying is do not get too upset when KOTOR 2 comes out with more levels then you are used too, and doesnt necissarily follow the exact leveling format as previous games, considerign many star wars games up to this point have not been particularly succesfull. More levels would benefit THIS PARTICULAR GAME.

New trilogy i think is best, but im young and not nastalgic, Prequils arent bad, but they are kinda gay and childish at soem points, the fact samuel L jackson is in them makes it better episode 2 is better than episode 1, and maybe episode 3 will be in teh same ballpark as teh original trilogy, KoTOR owns and hopefully the storylien will progress further and further and eventually lead up the a more recent tiem frame
