Planescape would be a really great place to explore but I don't think people should go in looking for a Torment kind of experience. Plus I think ppl would like multiplayer a lot more if they have friends to play with.

I'm not sure, but I'm glad my current setup can run it just above minimum reqs. I've read some of the "upgrade time" threads and their rig's way above my current one. Wouldn't mind getting some of their stuff 2nd hand. Check if you know ppl who are themselves upgrading. Stuff may be 2nd hand but it could tide you over until you've got more cash.

The idea's tricking the brain. There's been experiments (spiking drinks with adrenalin etc) that show the brain interprets/explains away things happening to it in wacky ways relevant to the situation.

A few people have the view that love is "just a chemical reaction" and we can see its effects on the brain - chemicals and stuff makes you loopy. Also there's the issue of the setting and circumstance to "fake" it. For example if you go on a roller coaster ride your heart races and you can mistake it as love. Anyway since that's the case will drugging ourselves with love potions when we see someone be a formula for "happily ever after"? Might keep people together longer too. Good idea? Bad idea? because it's the cool thing to do.
