  1. My complaint's I only get my fav gun (some kinda rifle thing with ridges and cool sounding firing thing) like 90% into the game and I don't get to have serious fun with it.
  2. What's a Kroney?
  3. I don't think that'd be very convincing when companies are trying to find funding for their projects.
  4. There are tons of way to improve TB. Fallout had its moments but it's hardly a shining example of the best TB has to offer. I kinda disliked the combat in Fallout too. I remember there was a shootup in town and damn, I had my turn and waited ****ing MINUTES while the whole ****ing town took their turn one by one. Whether it was the animals or old people shuffling (in fast forward mode) out of the way onto the sidewalk. I even had to wait while dudes outside the screen view made their move. Basically the whole town had a go. And yes, I sped up the animation but it was still massive fail.
  5. Atari seems to be going the extra mile to make NWN2 good.
  6. 2, 3, 7, 14.
  7. Yeah I do wish they'd continue the Dungeon Keeper line. I do think that it was getting a little stale and needed some fresh ideas though. Something like a more involving story where you start out as a lackey to a real Keeper, eventually starting your own rival dungeon to overthrow your Master and then taking over. The lackey thing would work out well in the early tutorial part too. Your game could start where the Master just conquered some area and you're in charge of easy cleaning up and doing some basic stuff. Then you get more complex tasks from the Master till you're good enough/accumulate enough power/support to challenge him/her.
  8. I hope things are going ok for Obsidian. Or maybe this could be a good thing that they got more time to polish things up.
  9. NASA reference aside, this reminds me how about how the US is handling Iran's nuke case.
  10. I think after a certain point being too tall's annoying. Ducking under stuff, nothing fits etc. Stuff is constructed for medium height people. Still I'm happy I can reach the top shelves and stuff.
  11. I think Fallout did fantastically well in creating a world (atmosphere etc), sarcastic humour that went with it and roleplaying options. Some people liked the combat too. Story was fine to enable the player to explore the world but I'm with Volourn. It wasn't top tier. Unfortunately no companion interactions either. Overall, a magnificent effort for its time though people should know what they're getting into.
  12. Shana on a black background. Will change to Blood+ next.
  13. Hahaha I'm taller than Kaftan by a cm
  14. I ain't buying that. Holy books are among the most printed stuff in the world and people'd get pissed if defacing went on.
  15. I kinda like 3, 7, 10, 14.
  16. That's pretty low to tour the ME with extra stuff to get a reaction.
  17. I could get behind a Vampire game.
  18. Summer in Denmark? Isn't autumn approaching in the nothern hemisphere?
  19. Thanks Darque, I'll give it a try after I finish my playthrough as a Tremere.
  20. The concept sounds pretty boring to me though people have spent lots of money and time on games like Everquest and WOW. I'm not sure why. The medium's just developing and it's seductive to think that we already know everything that is to know about it. It's a new world waiting to be discovered.
  21. Living happily ever after.
  22. I think unless I know that the others in my reality are real (or forget that part) as well and not just simulations I'd probably eventually go into depression because I'd feel empty. Probably turn out emo while being fed exotic fruit platters and wine in a Roman villa.
  23. It's not just combat centric stuff. Free economies can function in MMOs driven by organic forces (and the devs should be taking notes how players behave) while this would never happen even in a small, say 24 person multiplayer.
  24. I think MMOs have huge potential in social interactions. Much more organic growth and reactions than something prescripted. It's a powerful tool to study human behaviour. Whether it's players planning how to handle/bounty hunt a group of PK'ing clan or whatever. I really lol'd when a group of dudes on WOW found a way to spread a plague thingie. Blizzard probably shut that down but they could have handled things differently by posting incentives for people to bounty hunt those plague carriers. Rather than lack of freedom MMOs present huge potential compared to single player or some small multiplayer group.
  25. US politics should return to reality and focus on important stuff instead of being nitpicking bipartisan nonsense. The Democrats should clean up their act and show how things should be done instead of just how things shouldn't be done. Maybe then there'd be something worth talking about.
