Terrentino is a more than decent director and a really horrible actor, I think he knows and doesn't care, he's in it for the experience. Takeshi Mike directed this, he's usually a lot better at 'weird'.

Ugh I lost almost all interest when I saw Terrintino in it. God awful blowhard sob. I'll probably still watch it though. Watching the Japanese actors butcher the English language is funny, but the movie is just weird, and the wrong kind of weird, weirdness for it's own sake without any kind of edge. So in answering perhaps the most significant question of them all you can either go with 'yes' in which case all is well, or with 'no', in which case you are merely being contrary and hurtful towards believers.
