  1. Practically all the dogs I've had have been Labrador crosses. They train really well which is a blessing because you can let them off the leash in wild patches.
  2. Blahh. Multilplayer co-op is a good idea, but why has it got to be all Mmorphegers all the time now.
  3. The main story is a bit too short but pretty well paced. All the side stuff gets boring after a while anyway, and that's what all the mods deal with, hey it really is Oblivion in space, Although undoubtedly better. I wish I still had it lying around. Can it even play on a vista or xp system. Multilayer is a bit moot now isn't it, must have gone the way of the dinosaur a long time ago.
  4. Oblivion in space. Sorry I've got nothing.

    Gorth's doing, all of it.
  6. I dunno, doesn't it seem a bit excessive to be celebrating one particular battle, or rather series of. How about celebrating the end of the war instead.

    Are we there yet.

I'm done complaining now, you can have it back.

Nonsense, it's the medical term, and it was not used as an expletive. You just like your buttons a bit more than the other mods, isn't that where we are really at. Words can be offensive, but that goes for excessive meddling as well.
  10. Chess is about what happens two or three moves ahead, which you never fully understand, barring being a genius. That's it in a nutshell.
  11. I have a hard time imagining such a study would not be meandering around in conjecture. How do you accurately assess how many innocent people have been executed. What would be the balance, people who were at one time convicted of a capital offense but were released only to kill again. Philosophically speaking I think justice, when we are talking about deciding the life or death of someone, should aspire to something more than 'good enough' and not be prepared to accept any margin of error as the cost of doing business. I am also more offended by an innocent man executed than a repeat murderer.
  12. Well it has already been posited that systemic errors are inevitable, and that the death penalty logically is irreversible. Also there are the aforementioned extra legal motivations to affect the system, whether those effects are subtle or just serve as a brutal reminder of what happens if you attempt to rebel against the established order. Fine, so, the death penalty is not always wrong, but the system which governs it isn't perfect either. That being the case the final verdict of whether to have such as system or not has to be a resounding 'no'.
  13. I suppose you might say that because of the Nazi ban Germany has become too accustomed to banning things for its own good.
  14. Well lets not sell ourselves too short, we are certainly better than the barbarians who still kill their own citizens. The death penalty is at the most scary when used to send a political or popular message and is no longer only about individual cases. In China for instance it underpins a one party dictatorship, in the US it's more of a vote magnet to reign in the right wing reactionaries. The governor of such and such had this many executions during his term, what a man, tough on crime.

**** a dirty word.... who would have thunk. What's the PC version I wonder.

I'd wager the complaint would go in the same pile as the **** enlargement emails. Police haven't got time to investigate internet scams.
  17. I tired playing a splinter cell game, but I could never get used to the controls. Also everything seemed a little too trial and error with very limited ways of getting through a level.

You can remap the keys, just not all the keys for some reason, which kinda defeats the effort since a WASD setup is drastically different than an Arrow Key setup. I'm not in the industry, but I can't for the life of me understand why there are so many games which do not allow you to remap keys. Shouldn't that be like the easiest implementation in the world.
  19. Legislation is really weird on this point. I mean, it does make sense to make sure that there are as few evictions as possible, it's traumatizing, especially if there are kids involved. A couple of years ago I worked clearing abandoned apartments and we happened upon the eviction notice itself. This lady had not paid rent for more than 8 months and the place looked like something out of a horror movie. Why on earth was she not kicked out sooner. If I miss my rent by a single month I'm out on my ass.
  20. Well there is at least the possibility that he died happy.
  21. They might just influence them to up the lameness and Disney levels though. Less gibs, is what I'm driving at here. My god I've had it with do gooders and concerned parents stealing my gibs.

Well they are fishing for idiots, I imagine weeding out people with common sense would be helpful.
  23. Since when did anyone care what 'twitter users' said. Seems like an awfully convenient way to sneak what the editor would have thrown out back in. I wonder if this is widespread trend.
  24. I don't know what games for windows wants from me, but fortunately I can chose to ignore it's insistent pleas.
