Build Thread 2.0
Fair enough, I was always on Intel too. As for the performance reviews, as far as I know AMD did some optimizing since release but idk how much that changed game performance. On the point of your original question if cash is not a hard issue, go for the i9-7820X that should future proof you plenty. If you are looking to get a budget build grab the 7700 non K variant which is 50 bucks cheaper then the K version and you don't need to spend much on the MB since you are not going to overclock.

Why not go for the AMD Ryzen CPU, like the 1700 or 1700X? It would serve you much better then the 7700k for future proofing.

18-core Core i9
I can't believe it's for saving cost though, I mean how much can they really save on it?

18-core Core i9
Huh guess I got lucky with my rig, although I did get the rampage v board. Also as far as I know all E variants are soldered to their lid.

AMD Ryzen
http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/computex-2017-intel-launches-x299kabylake-xand-skylake-x.html 2k for the 18 core variant from intel... Here's to hoping AMD rips them a new one and prices their 16core variant closer to 1k.

What's on the idiot box?
Did anyone see the last episode of Samurai Jack? Got to admit I was slightly disappointed with the ending and I wasn't expecting much from it, which is a shame as the rest of the season had great to good episodes. As for ST:Discovery, why are they so stuck on the Kirk period, it wasn't even that good to begin with. Instead of going to the future and showing wild and new technology they are going further back.

Politics 2017 Act 6
Azdeus, dude that's Sweden, that's the ideal of how things should be. It really depends. It's not really as hopeless as Sharp_One has shown, tbh I never heard of someone waiting for any procedure for longer than a year. Maybe if there is only one place to get it in the whole country, but even then... For the usual stuff it goes from a few days to 6 months. For an example it takes a few days to get an appointment with a general practice doctor for an examination (or you can go the same day but you would have a lower priority then those who have an appointment), but it could take up to 6 month to get an ultrasound for you kidneys. All this changes if it's an emergency, ie. you are at an immediate risk of dying, then you don't have to wait of course.

Politics 2017 Act 6
That is the sad truth. While everyone does have a right to free healthcare, people have to take a number... Almost every doctor in the government healthcare system has a private clinic and that private clinic lets you skip the ticket machine (they even use government facilities to do the procedures). Usually, the people who have an urgent issue get pushed up the line, but that again depends on how old you are and other factors.

I understand that, what I don't understand is why they perceive nudity/sex to be more...let's say...taboo... then all the other stuff is beyond me. And this is Obs we are talking about. This kind of stuff I would expect from Bioware. But thinking about it now, the locking of that thread coincided with that Obs dev getting pissy, so it's probably related. Guess it was the easiest way to settle the matter...

Do we really need words to discuss something, is not the sharing of pictures a discussion of it's own. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Joking aside, I don't see what discussion value half the threads in the off-topic have, but hey that's my opinion. As for offending peoples sensibilities, that only matters if the offended work for Obs...
