I'm pretty sure him having too few positive dispositions is a bug/writer's oversight that will be fixed. -

Btw, lol, Aloth's approval exploit in Dunnage's tavern has been fixed in the beta patch. Cry and despair - now nobody will be able to raise his rep to +2! Back to using a mod until he's fixed . -

Why was this added? Other ships shouldn't stop sailing just because I do. If I need a "time out" I should be pausing the game, no? Probably so that other ships won't attack you while you take your time out. -

Thanks! I tried it out (I was right there in my current game) and it triggered correctly, got the "Aloth is pleased" bit and a rep gain. Cool. Well, if it works it means it's not very difficult for devs to add extra dispositions either. Hopefully they will. -

Autonomy and Stwerdship are mutually exclusive depending on where he stands with the Leaden Key. Devs fixed that in the last beta patch. Otherwise it looks better than what we have now, sure. Devs can probably work with import states and add positive Skulduggery for pro-Leaden Key Aloth and Progressive for anti-Leaden Key Aloth. Btw, did you test how adding extra dispositions work in the game? Do they actually fire for Aloth? -

It's been bothering me for quite a while - main menu seems to be fully operational under intro screens after launching the game. Sometimes it allows to accidentally click Continue and freeze the game at black screen. Other buttons also don't do anything good. Can you please lock the main menu until all intro screens are gone?

Btw, how many times Autonomy and Stewardship actually came up in dialogues? I seem to recall only Dutiful firing frequently enough. -

Yea, I seem to recall something like that. He doesn't want animancy in the wrong hands who can do harm to people, like Thaos did, for example. So better for it to be available to all? -

Right, but if you have him and Pallegina in party, they tend to argue about animancy. His anti-LK self eventually says that he fears that animancy will just lead to kith trading one form of soul slavery for another. Somewhat inconsistent dude, that Aloth. His history with animancy is complicated, I wouldn't say he's totally against it (he definitely liked that luminous bathhouse a lot), but he's afraid it may do more harm than good. So I don't think he should have any animancy related dispositions. -

The beta patch fixed 2 Aloth's conflicting dispositions by removing one, but now he has too few dispositions and only 2 of those are positives. How are we supposed to raise rep with him if he has so few things he likes? It's not fair when other companions have so many: While Aloth only has 5: He should at least have a positive anti-Leaden Key disposition when he's anti-Leaden Key, or positive pro-Leaden Key disposition when he's pro-Leaden Key. But more positives should be added as well, maybe Skulduggery, Progressive and Resourcefulness.- 171 replies

Yea, that's a sloppy fix - removing the bugged one while not giving anything in return. He has waaaay too few dispositions compared to other companions and most of them are negatives. I mean, can you compare his 5 to these? -
