  1. Well, I'm having a vacation starting next week, so yeah, I'm gonna play it on release. Unless it gets postponed again at the last minute From my experience, with games like these that I know I can't help but binge, it's better to take a vacation or days off so as not to look and feel like a dead vegetable at work.
  2. Yet another example why photos and dark portraits lacking color are bad watercolor material. But whatever, I only work with what you give me:
  3. Thanks for lending a hand, Karkarov, I'm swamped
  4. You don't have to do that unless you're going to run naked on principle or something. There will be lots of gear and food that will raise attributes, just like in POE1. And now also pets.
  5. Damn, got busy for a week and requests are spawning like rabbits. Guys, where have you all been before?? I'll try, but I'm not sure I'll be able to do all of these before release day.
  6. Probably nothing is coming, I haven't seen it being mentioned anywhere. The only thing that is coming is another twitch stream tomorrow: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/96978-deadfire-sneak-peak-with-josh-sawyer-wed-april-25th/?do=findComment&comment=1999145 They're sure taking their sweet time to start up the hype train
  7. That's what I'm playing currently . Sorry, guys, no time for portraits for now.
  8. I'm still waiting for the next Fig update that they promised for weeks now. Lack of hype to get excited about is killing me
  9. There are no gnomes in POE, but the portrait looks like an elf. They should have went with a dwarf or orlan, imho. Apparently this is fan service, so it is a gnome, if I have understood it correctly. It's fan service to those following Vox Machina who wants to put those (DnD) characters into the PoE world. So if one is not into that you either don't download the portraits or pretend it's an elf. I mean gnome should be closer to dwarf or orlan than elf in appearance conversion. But whatever. Looks like Daenerys, btw.
  10. So those portraits are ones that we as players can choose for our own character? Would you mind critiquing the watercolor portrait that I posted on page 5, please? I am not sure I got the style right. If there is still too much detail in it, for example. Would be great. Thanks! Yes, these portraits are for you or any custom mercs you may wanna create at the inn, they'll also have unique voice sets. Your portrait on the previous page is too bright and lacks contrast.

  12. Nice! Though I notice it's a big lower lip again. They seem to have a thing for that. Aren't they based on those actors faces? I think that first custom portrait is based on this actress who has natural big lower lip:
  13. Never heard of him. They've started to reveal Critical Role's custom characters portraits on Versus Evil site: http://versusevil.com/games/pillars-of-eternity-ii-deadfire_c-r
  14. If you find the rest of his head I can make it better fitting, but as it is:
  15. Original Maia is still hotter. Agreed, Maia was fine as is. Also that Xoti is outdated, it's now this: Btw, who's that drunk/high looking blue orlan again? She's got a big portrait like a companion for whatever reason. Serafen's sibling? Or...Serafen turned Serafena, lol?
  16. Well, it's all because of zeitgeist. I wouldn't call Drizzt pics from early books pretty in modern standarts: But people's tastes change over time and now he looks all dolled up, that's a modern thing: Same goes for Sephiroth and all the other countless modern "girly" looking Japanese young male characters. It's their modern beauty standards for boys and young guys (also Japanese are total wackos ).
