  1. Her quest is also bugged and spoils the main plot prematurely: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/98186-xotis-quest-spoils-main-quest-spoiler/
  2. Well, Serafen has a banter with her concerning something about it.
  3. Yea, judging from all the companions banter with Vela the Watcher is just terrible - doesn't teach her anything useful, treats her like a servant. And doesn't talk to her at all for whatever reason (devs ran out of money probably). So, better leave her alone in POE1, she'd be better off as a tribe leader than some errand girl.
  4. Yep, she's bugged to have that dialogue about dumping souls from her lantern to the adra pillar/animancers way too early. It literally spoils what Eothas is going to do with the Wheel even if you didn't progress through the main plot to know it. This dialogue should only be available after Ashen Maw, I think.
  5. Btw, guys, did you know that Ydwin technically is undead? With high enough metaphysics skill you can learn from her intro dialogue that she was studying reincarnation entropy and experimented on herself to uncouple her soul from the Wheel with a side effect - her soul uncoupled from her body. And now she craves for souls to sustain herself, so far only those from luminous adra and animals. But companions are suspicious of her soon to be wanting more. Damn, it's too bad she's not a companion, she could have had a quest related to the main plot twist! Bummer
  6. Hey, if you're confused about the main plot and the ending there's a whole thread about it with all the same questions raised: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/98322-ending-spoilers-the-ending-is-really-confusing/
  7. Yea, it's very disappointing. Good thing I have my canon import save without her, I think she'll be better off being raised as a tribe leader.
  8. Watched Xoti and the Watcher dialogues: Well, she's bugged as hell. I haven't seen half of these, she just jumped into Watcher's pants and that was it.
  9. That's not all they will do in their ending - they will also take a world leading role in animancy research and study of Ukaizo. Castol's ending is especially promising, Alvari is too ruthless though.
  10. Tyranny was made by another team. Not much transferred from there to POE2.
  11. I think it's pretty safe to say by many real world examples that knowledge corrupts. Huana were living in their backward bubble for too long, but newcomers slowly but surely give them eyeopeners. Personally, I can't see them sustaining their sovereignty, never worked in the real world, at least not unscathed. And I just can't get the story of the Easter island out of my head when dealing with Huana.
  12. Caste system is terrible. I've watched and read quite a few things about the Indian one - saddest part about it is that it is so tied with religion that even though it's officially banned, in reality it's still there influencing peoples lives.
  13. It's funny how you can make players hate a character because of the bugs. Aloth and relationship system is bugged, guys, it's been mentioned quite often and confirmed by the devs. Check out bugs details here: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/99004-collective-summary-of-all-the-glaring-bugs-in-the-relationship-system/
  14. If you mean the Gullet it's good ending is not connected with siding with them, just gotta convince the Huana rulers to finally tend to it in a side quest. You can still side with anybody else, the ending will stay good.
  15. You can't judge a nation by one naive young boy. There are good and bad people there as are anywhere.
  16. Exactly, it's just a matter of personal preference whom to choose. Personally, I didn't like the cop out no-faction choice or the Principi as it's terrible for the region and unhelpful to whoever would wish to study Ukaizo for the Wheel fixing. So for me it's the Vailian Republics because: 1)Pallegina is my buddy; 2)Their animancy resereachers are the best in the world; 3)They're not stuck in outdated traditions, believe that trade brings progress and don't have to resort to military force to conquer other nations.
  17. Yea, the Republics and their animancers so far are the best bet at fixing it (if you choose them), judging from the ending slides. That may leave a door open for Pallegina to return.
  18. Thanks. Isn't it the island where Onekaza sends us to negotiate with the isolationist huana tribe? The very same. It's actually good to do both quests simultaneously. His quest and the Queen's, or alternatively the slavers'. But the one from the Queen gives you favor with the tribe leader, so she's more prone to answering some questions.
  19. His quest island is Ori o Koiki, it's to the far northwest. Make sure to read the soul on a derelict ship near it.
  20. Yea, that whole thing about ruling/dismantling a world spanning secret organization single handedly without a clue where they are or how they operate sounded pretty dumb in POE1 already. But I guess Aloth needed a final closure. I'm glad there is an option in POE2 for him to let it go.
  21. As good idea as any for the sequel. Btw, gods are total **** to their godlike. It was mentioned by the gods that Eothas drained most of his while stomping to Deadfire, and other gods were discussing doing the same or possessing them. So if I were Pallegina I'd want to kill them too.
  22. They're useful for boarding ships - instead of your generic crew members taking a hit they're the ones who do the fighting.
