  1. Bought my mother a Christmas present, also new Logitech G35 headphones and a new weight scale. Found out that I weigh a whooping 100 kilograms / 220 lbs now, I've never weighed so much in my life. I feel kind of heavy too but as long as I can see my abs....
  2. Interesting remix of one of Brian Enos best.
  3. A pup? Most people eventually grow old, so do many trees, thinking thats a feat and bragging with it like you constantly do is really sad. Having nothing better to do than nitpicking on someones carpet in the Internet is worse though. *chuckles* Well, then maybe you should work on your endurance, heavy sweating from weight lifting which burns relatively few calories compared to hours of endurance training is sadly oh so common amongst those lifters who don't do their cardio. In summer I do 3x 100 kilometers per week on my bicycle, in mountainous terrain without breaks. If you get used to that 1.5 hours of lifting doesn't make you sweat much anymore. I wish I could say the same to you, but your comments only make me raise my eyebrows. Strange, I've never cracked a tile in my life while moving a weight plate and never dropped one during lifting as my grip is reliable. If I had I would have simply relocated my exercise place or used more wooden plates to support the weights. Maybe you should not reflect your own clumsiness or bad grip strength onto other people? Or maybe you sweat so much that your grip suffers? *chuckles* Also I think this discussion is as boring to all these people here as it is to me, so if you want to share more of your...invaluable wisdom with me I suggest shooting me a PM for the sake of keeping this thread on topic.
  4. Wrong, the reason for the discoloration of the carpet is there was furniture standing on there for over a decade, the carpet around it changed color from the sunlight, which can be clearly seen by the two perfectly round reddish circles. (I don't sweat crop circles into my carpet) And if you knew anything about weightlifting you'd know that cardio is what makes you sweat an enormous amount, I cannot remember the last time I sweat a noticeable amount when lifting weights. Unless of course you're fat and old, you will drip like a raincloud after every move. I only open the flood gates when riding my bicycle and my sweat is 100% degradable by mother nature, thankfully. After many years of lifting there I never had problem with the carpet + floor combination, as usual the problems only exist in your head. Also if you knew anything about lifting you'd know thats its a really bad beginners habit to drop weights, a professional could lift heavy on the fragile tiled belly of the Space Shuttle without scratching the surface. If you throw the weights around that tiles crack you're doing something very wrong. Thanks for your concern though.
  5. Definitely Xbox controller, and that comes from someone who didn't use a controller in 13 years, until now with DA:I. Took me a day to get used to that controller and get KB+M out of my mind, now it works like a charm. Also the ability to walk, which is missing with KB+M controls, is -for me- absolutely invaluable. I need to walk to see and fully appreciate the beautiful environments.
  6. Former glory? Clinging to old ideals and bygone times can and will negatively effect the fun you can have with new stuff, at least it totally does in my case, so I see DA:I as its own thing and I don't associate it with any of their former games. And its one damn good game, with flaws that stick out like a sore thumb though. And yes, the PC controls are annoying, but since I've gotten myself an Xbox controller my list of complaints got much shorter. Faith restored? What faith? A developers reputation has no impact on my purchase behavior, I judge each game individually and decide to buy it or not after watching several reviews and reactions in forums.
  7. Tell me Grom, where did you get your mythical abilities of having an opinion about everything, knowing everything and being right all the time? Is this some kind of joke or are you actually serious? Or are you reciting a phrase from a very bad book? Only a very simple man would judge a person wholly by watching how they act and perform in one single task. Shall I judge you as a person by your behavior in this forums? Would it be accurate? Don't make me explain to you what a tongue-in-cheek comment is and how you identify one. How many carpenters, welders etc. do you actually know, personally? You must know them all if you presume to speak for them all. And this guy has won matches with it too, manufacturing safe and good ammo for precision rifles is a textbook example of precision in manufacturing. So much for your arguments... But I've already wasted enough time in this needless and boring discussion that lacks the vital element that is entertainment.
  8. Like I said, during the process... I've seen too many people cleaning their workplace after every step and/or several times per day and it took them ages to finish something. Also they interrupted their muse so many times that the final product was mediocre at best. And nobody applauded them for their clean workplace.
  9. Look who's talking. Before criticizing people you should first learn how to read, then you'd know what the word ''necessary'' in my sentence actually means. A certain constructive chaos is inevitable during the process of creation, and trying to prevent is not just a waste of time its also is ultimately a futile endeavor as the chaos will revive itself almost immediately after its removal. As long as the process of creation can continue without interruption and the equipment is not suffering the level of chaos is absolutely acceptable.
  10. A craftsman should spend every minute on his project and not waste more time on cleaning than absolutely necessary. Nobody cares about the craftsman's workplace, what matters is the final product and nothing else.
  11. Hey, its part of my workroom, it is supposed to be dirty! Only a lazy craftsmans workroom is clean. What I'm doing: pulling an all-nighter to restore my screwed up inner clock. I hate that.
  12. Really? Its dutch liqueur made from a blend of egg yolks, aromatic spirits, sugar or honey, brandy, vanilla and sometimes cream - or evaporated milk.
  13. Mmmh, hot female thighs, my favorite food.
  14. Fixed that for you. Nah, its Solas, he is incredibly aloof and full of himself. I know people like that in real life and dealing with them is a pain in the butt. Its not that he is not well made but he is like if you put ten elves into a blender and make a new one out of the smoothie. At least Sera is fun, isn't trying to force her opinion on others and doesn't give your a ''Greatly Disapproves'' if you do not share her opinion.
  15. Started a Cassandramance and shes the cutest thing ever. All the characters in DAI are really well made and likeable. Except Solas.
  16. Well, my washing machine is screwing around again, I'm going to disassemble the water pump completely. Something's stuck in there and I really hope its not parts from the pump itself. Fortunately its really primitively built so I wont need a degree in rocket science to fix it. And I bought some new weights and put them on my barbell. Still need two more 20Kg's though if I want to go for max and not reps. Birthday maybe...
  17. What destroyed Germany was the weak Airforce that allowed bombing the infra structure to pieces, not realizing the importance of radar and Allies gaining control over the oil fields, this rendered 1/3 of the mechanized troops useless crippling the supply chain.
  18. .....and she is a world class oval cyclist.
