Also, terrible song, but the video was clearly a lot of work, blending the Michael Bay cuts together like that. Mostly not my thing. In every way.

I had one job interview in my life. I ended up having to do a Thomas PPA and didn't get the job I applied for. Initially, at least, turned out the other candidate was a bit of a dweeb. Still enjoy teasing them with the 2+ years they lost over that decision, but to this day I don't know what the result of this PPA thing was. edit: This one should give @Sarex a heart attack, I recently integrated a customer where I didn't write a single line of code for that integration until one day before the project release date. I faked my way through the entire acceptance test suite with a glorified unit test script. That was fun. Not recommended unless you enjoy a little bit of pressure and some insanity. Heh.

The ending saved the episode. It wasn't as fun as the Discovery mirror universe episodes, but it wasn't as bad as it looked to be before the intro sequence rolled.

I used to watch ピコリーノの冒険 as a child - which has no real relation to either of the films, just wanted to say that. Anyway, while the 1976 anime wasn't dark or twisted, it was a different take on the story, particularily where the fox and the cat were concerned. They were mischievous if not downright criminal and got the naive puppet into trouble all the time. Kinda loathe to try rewatching. It was fun as a kid, not sure how that would hold up. Anyway, mildly looking forward to the del Toro version. Big nope on the Disney thing.

Amazon Prime is doing me a favor and will make Lady Asuka disappear in three days. Not going to binge 20 episodes in that time. Guess that means I'll get to listen to the original VA somewhat soonish, that might improve the show a bit - or make it much worse.

Texhnolyze, up to episode seven. Seven episode into Utena I had an idea what was going on, but seven episodes into this much shorter series I'm still at a total loss, although with this seventh episode it seems like a die has been cast, and things will pick up from there. Heavy breathing 'protagonist boy' is sure grating my nerves a little though. My fault for reading spoilerish comments, I guess, but still, pretty interesting, all in all.

Komi went to Kyoto and insane stalker girl wanted to touch her boobies in the bath. That's it then, we're back to terrible. Okay, maybe the episodes wasn't as terrible as the really terrible ones, and for some utterly infantile reason I find the ongoing storyline that puts Tadano into situations where Komi thinks he might like the weirdo boy more than her is mildly amusing at times. The biggest issue for this episode is that it is kind of the same as a K-On!! one where they go to Kyoto. Komi has a weird tourist guide and in K-On!! the girls get lost, but everything else is really similar, down to the pillow fight. K-On!! even had a situation where someone wanted to touch boobs in a bath but Mio just whacked Sawako for the idea and that was the end of such nonsense (in the entire second season, if memory serves). Needless to say, the K-On!! episode was much better.

It has Captain Pike steering a pirate space ship with a steering wheel. That's all anyone needs to know about this episode before going in to discover the actual spoilerish part that had me equally laughing like a maniac and facepalming hard. Edit: I posted this before the episode actually ended. I can't believe they've actually spelled that out and showed him from behind at the end of the episode. The idea is silly to begin with, but seriously, subtlety, people? A little, maybe? Also, there was a whole lot more of that annoying bridge banter than in the last couple of episodes. Sheesh. "Take her in close." "First date or third date?"

I played The Witcher 3 and didn't like it. Worse, I guess: I liked Cyberpunk 2077 more than The Witcher 3.
