  1. That makes sense, its only been two days. Iirc, youre vaccinated, but what about your family members? Are they all unvaxxed or is this a stupendous case of multiple breakthrough infections?
  2. Have you gotten tested yet?
  3. @BruceVC I found an article about a San Francisco school that forces poorly performing 9th grade students into "ethics study course" and it seems to have good results: This Ninth Grade Class Shows Critical Race Theory Has A Place In Schools (forbes.com)

  6. Wheel of Fortune does me like that. Whenever the theme music is playing I cant hear what Pat is saying. But it only happens with that particular show. 🤔
  7. I dont really talk about any of the wars, but I am interested in the systems used in them. Its a bit surprising to see the current performance of a supposed "(near) peer" rival.
  8. Scientists Have Eradicated Liver Cancer in Rats Using Non-Invasive Sound Waves (sciencealert.com)
  9. Also, the lethality of the Turkish drones blows my mind. If ours perform at an equivalent or better level, I could take over the world with a swarm of 5000. Hell, send 200 against a carrier and punch a bunch of little holes all over it. THOR is going to be a game changer though.
  10. For sure. Just to make sure Im not misidentifying, all these little bricks are reactive armor, right?
  11. Account bound! Do eeet!
  12. Whats really surprised me about the Russian tanks is the seeming ineffectiveness of the explosive reactive armor panels. I honestly thought they would do a better job defeating ATGM's.
  13. Rub some dirt on it and get back in the game.

  15. We had two roasted garlic & herbs pork loins. One of my dirty little secrets is that I dont really care for ham. Spiral cut or thick cut slices can go straight into the garbage, I only like thin cut sandwich ham, Krakus to be specific.

  17. We had around a dozen family members over for Easter dinner. My wife made a ton of dishes and some of the guests brought food too. Ive got leftovers for the rest of the week.
  18. The "field of education" is only 100 years old? Seems legit.
  19. Mexico gives you a great bang-for-your-buck and this will be our first time to Cabo, so were pretty pumped. Although now looking at the map I wish we would have checked the prices to Acapulco. Ive always wanted to go there! Oh well this one is already booked so maybe next vacation. The friendliest place Ive ever been to is in SAmerica, Chile. The people there were just sublime. Of course that was the early 90's so things may have changed.
  20. Its in the Southern tip of the Baja peninsula: We usually go to Cancun (far right of picture).
  21. Speaking of which, just last night my wife booked us a week long vacation in Cabo in August. Were doing our typical stay at an adults only, all inclusive, resort. w00t! Were a little burned out on Cancun and the Pacific beaches are much nicer. I just hope the reefs arent torched yet.
