  1. Now I dont care what a person ingests as long as it doesnt affect another, but the above is a scary stratement to put out there to the public. Ecstasy is pretty much a stew of several man made chemicals and IMO, is in an entirely different class then reefer.
  2. ^Huh, thats kinda neat. I would have expected them to be more expensive being that they are supposedly originals. Or maybe theyre not that hard to find?
  3. IIRC, Gaider said the cap was 15-16 but most players will only reach around 12-13.
  4. Yes, I have. Im still rocking a P4 3Ghz at home but due to my wifes recent raise that should be changing fairly soonish and Im interested in exploring some games that would make my current rig cry like a little girl. With that in mind, Steam seems like a good way to get stuff fast provided the prices are the same as retail. I can kinda guess the Pro's of Steam but can anyone give me the Con's? Something crazy like you have to be logged into Steam to play them, or something like that?
  5. Agreed, those are really good.
  6. Can you expand on the bolded? Does that mean there is no limit to the number of PC's that simultaneously have the same game installed? For exapmle, could I have at the same time the same game installed on my home desktop, work desktop and a laptop? Or did you mean there is no limit to the number of times you could download the same game, but only on one PC at a time?
  7. I've been juggling two characters, one horde one ally. My ally is doing what she normally does as the Warrior queen of tanking. My horde is actually a DK, which is of the school of "easy to learn, hard to master" in terms of getting good numbers out of it. I've also got the purified Ony talisman on Kith so that I can plow through old dungeons if I want and not have to worry about anything killing me due to regen I ran a BE DK up to lvl 62 before I got a little bored. Its a pretty fun class to play but at the end of the day I dont like melee as much as I like being the artillary. Respecced my Mage off-spec to Arcane and have been really impressed with the DPS. Now I just have to retrain my brain and muscle memory to optimize my DPS output.
  8. Wow, I cant believe they're going with an AO rating.
  9. WoW, always playing WoW... Finally won the roll for Onyxia's head and turned it in for the Polished Dragonslayer's Signet which I had been trying to get for around a half-dozen runs.
  10. Lol, pimpin aint easy.
  11. I believe there is a very outside chance that a now broken rib, if compressed improperly, can pierce the lungs/heart and cause internal bleeding.
  12. Oy, dont flatter yourself, your not the only one in that thread who feels consequence free play is acceptable. And you should really read Gorgons post thats in Slowtrains sig. I got pissed and fell for your flame bait once but that wont happen again. Try to be a big boy and avoid the name calling, or just do us both a favor and put me on ignore. Youre the one that get all red faced and poopy pants. Oh, thats right, youre not taking this sh** anymore. *snap*snap*snap* Way to massage that to get to one specific scenario to support your (now) revised opinion.
  13. See post 107, you know, where youve already agreed.
  14. Hehe, agreed. Im just throwing it back in everyones faces. Everyone had a jolly good dogpile in the DA thread tripping all over themselves explaining how it was genius that DA wouldnt let you paint yourself into a corner, but MOTB is hailed by most as a pinnacle in roleplaying and it has that exact mechanic in it. Ill lay off now.
  15. So the game would allow the player to make choices that could lead to an inescapable outcome of being unable to continue? Heresy! I cant believe Obsidian wasnt drummed out of business.
  16. I enjoyed it much more because of that. Except there is - Supress. Au contraire, youve obviously forgotten the 349834598429 threads about how the curse would get to a point that even trying to travel to another location would kill you because of the "time" that passed while you travel.
  17. Well if it were done properly, MOTB would have given the player some mechanism to completely reset/circumvent the curse so you wouldnt get frustrated.
  18. Thats not the same at all. Bombing the bejaysus out of people has a high percentage chance of catching innocents in the explosion. Criminal punishment is a focused deterrent on an individual found guilty by his/her peers/court system. So, it seems to me that the idividual thats been hard done by is responsible for that state due to their direct actions and society has no reason to feel bad about it.
  19. ^That sounds like poor game design. No player should ever be constrained by the choices they make.
  20. Hmm, good question. I havent been to the doctor in years so I dont really remember if they asked me for ID. They definately asked for it two years ago when my wife broke her toe in a wave pool in Wisconsin, but that was one of those 24-hour care places and not a full blown hospital. EDIT: I would also imagine if you were having some major procedure done, someone would have asked for ID at some point.
  21. "Seperate accounts" being seperate Windows logons? My first guess would be that he is the "administrator" and thus has full access while she is a sub-account. She should check the "permissions" and see if her account is operation under some restrictions.
  22. The only paperwork I've had to fill out for the NHS as long as I can remember is signing my name to acknowledge receipt of medicine. Maybe thats true for the consumer (you) but the administration (them) was the root of fault in Aristes case, and I dont see that becoming less of a cluster because the government stepped in. And FYI, its the same here. If you go to the doctor you fill out a standard form with your basic information (name, address, etc...), its not like were filling out our own medical forms.
  23. Should, would, could, but doesnt. Not only are DD prices exactly the same as retail, in countries with different currency they are frequently significantly higher then retail. It could be argued that DD is a shameless moneygrab by the producers as they obviously arent passing the savings to the customer. Less for more, yay!
  24. Wait, paperwork and bureaucracy go down when the government takes over? Huh.
  25. We used nukes and I missed it!? Aw man.
