  5. Im not trying to smear McCain. I don't live in his district, don't know his policies or beliefs and have absolutely no dog in his living or dying. Pinky swear. Im specifically focused on what constitutes a "war hero" and he is the person of topic. Slightly OT, but I would like to ask what this means? Checking urban dictionary, the usage has definitely changed from my intended usage! In its loosest terms (to me) it means the damage or destruction of something. Like, "He redlined the car and smoke checked the engine!" In my comment above I meant McCain "smoke checked" four aircraft (accident, accident, hit power lines, shot down). Thank goodness his father was an Admiral.

  8. Smoke checking four planes is bad form. Then he was active duty for ~6 months before being captured. Wheres the heroic part in there? Not dying?
  9. Honest question, whats the criteria for being a "war hero"? Not dying? Because he seemed like a way below average pilot.

  11. At 106, Roberta McCain has outlived her son. Wow, that's nutso! With genetics like that I wonder if he got the cancer from Agent Orange?
  12. All believers are amusing. But true, anyone that turns it up to 11 is even more so.
  13. I wonder if he had anything to do with McCain quitting his palliative care?
  14. Oh ok. Cool story I guess.
  15. Wait, he quit his pain meds just so his last few hours could be in agony? So kooky.
