  3. Thread Pruned: So far there has been a generally constructive and honest tone to this thread. Let's see if that can be maintained ...
  4. Yes! And, fwiiw, when I am updated The Tech Files, I have 30+ tabs in FF 3.0.1 and it does not slow down. I thought I would try that with Chrome ... don't - at least not yet! It has the strength of Google and OpenSource behind it - but the 'Big Brother' fear in me is concerned. The EULA was changed not b/c it was wrong, but b/c of OpenSource/community response. I hope I am wrong - but for now at least, FF 3.0.1 still has the overall advantage for the enthusiast, imo Regardless, all of the innovation is good - it serves to refine all of the options and that makes a Geckling happy
  5. Thanks Pope - if you ever figure out how you fixed it, do let us know!
  6. Rather than see this degrade, I believe that Gorth has covered the pertinent reality. Please do note that Obsidian does not condone or support any form of acquiring games that circumvents legally sanctioned avenues. When in doubt with a damaged product, do contact the company through the official support venue (usually listed in the gaming material itself) and often there is a sympathy and desire to assist a geckling get back up and running with a legit copy of software.

  18. It's nice to see that you two do in fact agree. Perhaps we can ratchet down the rhetoric and do some listening to one another and, hopefully, the shared interests might be better appreciated.
