  1. I wrote you a reply, but my dog ate it. Im not really sure the games industry is where I want to work. Almost all I hear from the guys I know who work there, or used to work there, have been horror stories. No, Im more interested in animation for film/tv/advertising at the moment. And in that field they still hire juniors in Sweden.
  2. OK. +1 I enjoy a bit of spam from time to time. Like with eggs, bacon and spam or spam, spam, spam, eggs and spam.
  3. So will there be 12-hour long mandatory dungeon crawls in DA2? I really loved the midget mines, totally did. It was like the best part of the game, it was so awesome I quit and uninstalled the game.
  4. Me and my mates were going to buy Bulletstorm today for some multiplayer madness, but apparently they've removed it. There is only a rudimentary "horde" mode where you fight off increasingly larger waves of AI enemies. Im quite disapointed to be honest
  5. Yeah, and Kim Jong Il can fly and shoot laser from his armpits. Its all just the olde asian "Im short so I have to make up stories to make people think Im cool" syndrome. p.s As a comparison, our king Karl XII actually COULD jump 5 meters up in the air and kick back cannonballs like a superhuman Zlatan. No lies, he did it like twice and a thousand billion people saw it.
  6. I replay strategy games and other types of games that arent story-based. I will do multiplayer aswell if its good, but replaying single player is just too much of groundhog day for me. Ill just try to get absolutely everything I can out of the game on that playthrough instead. You're not only stupid, you have poor taste aswell.
  7. The samurai were probably just the same as everything else from Japan - grossly exaggerated to make them look good. The scrawny little samurais would probably have run away as soon as they caught sight of a bearded, maniacal, axe-murderering viking. Vikings are big and strong, not tiny and weak.
  8. A viking with a rock could easily have taken out some tiny asian dude with a ninja sword: 1. throw rock at samurai 2. jump him when hes distracted 3. strangle him 4. raping and pillaging
  9. Most people, like me, only play through a game ONCE. Doing something like that means catering to a minority of consumers, even though its quite a vocal and dedicated bunch.
  10. Who cares what some weird, backward dudes on an island were doing? If CA had balls and didnt look to cater to manga fans, they would have made a game set in ancient China instead.
  11. I hate Japan, not touching it. Id rather play another campaign of ETW or NTW.
  12. I think you were suggesting getting into casual game development. Which might be helpful, or not. All studios have "minimum of two years experience working on AAA title"
  13. Relax people. Im a Swedish person, if we have intercourse it's always in a calm and sensible manner.
  14. Id rather work in advertising than doing casual games for iGays. And I did have a look at a sweet studio, but like: -I heard you want dudes who do sweet guns and ****? -Word. -So give me a job then? -Nah, we only steal employees from the other two companies. You could have rabies for all we know. -I totally do not have rabies. -Yeah well, go work at dice for five years so we know for sure. -But they're only hiring people form this place and the other place? -Yup, rabies-free labour, bro. -Fine!
  15. Is it because you felt you could have done just as poor of a job? I would have done a job on it, alright. FINE! I'll stop picking on him... That's right, get out of the kitchen cause the heat's too much for ye. You bleedin wuss!
  16. To me, it seemed more like anyone with any brains worked on FNV leaving Alpha Protocol to whichever primate was free at the time. I certainly dont understand whats supposed to be clever about it, its thouroughly brainless from start to finish. Like someone just bought a bunch of 24 and Alias DVD's and tried to cut&pste together something interesting.
  17. No game without features that exists solely for fuzzing with other players can ever be called a party game. If you could throw virtual beer bottles at your opponents in guitar hero, Id get it but now its just "Gee, you got 274840187 points! Really swell job, there pal."Mariokart is about: -John? -Yeah? -Blue shell. -OH ****ING ****, YOU MOTHER****ER I WAS THIS CLOSE TO WINNING!!!! And then he tries to get back at you. Fun, fun, fun!! :D Im offended! ..by the thought that this game doesnt already exist!
  18. You're the ones there's something wrong with. If you want to get drunk with your friends and play something before going out, you have Mariokart. Thats all you could ever want from a party game. It's simple, fun and everything about it gets better the more you drink.
  19. Don't worry - they axed the franchise.. Yay! I could never understand how millions of people enjoyed "push the orange button when the orange button logo is shown on the screen" gameplay. Its like building an entire game around QTE's
  20. That's one of the many flaws of the game; the main character is just such a total douche. He even looks annoying! I put a full beard and sunglasses on him so I wouldnt have to look at his smug face during the dialogue.
  21. The only DLC for ME2 thats worth a damn is Shadow Broker and maybe Overlord, although its short and mostly just combat.
  22. I finished 5th in my second ever NASCAR race at iRacing. I think it was because Im slightly intoxicated, you cant drive bad enough sober.
  23. My NASCAR career in iRacing isnt going well. I think its something fundamentally uncivilized in perpetually turning left for 50 laps.
  24. As an artist Ive picked up alot of things by poking at other peoples stuff, fetching assets from the framebuffer etc. But maybe programmers are more honest and moral people?
  25. No, its that you have to buy every car and every track as separate DLC. So if you want the full package its several hundred dollars. If you one decide to "I want to try some F1" then its $11 for the car and then 4-5 tracks for 15$ each. It gets really expensive unless you stick to driving the same thing all the time.
