I think the notion of dark jedi and sith as bullying thugs goes completely against what they are supposed to be in Star Wars. I mean in the usual "you see two exchange members bully a poor rodian", a Sith would just ignore those insignificant vermin but the evil option is instead to always side with the bullies. I donmt know what Bio and Obsidian were thinking when they laid out the dialouge options for the KoTOR series. For home-defense, given that you are statisticly more likely to hit family members and neighbours, I would choose the smallest most harmless gun I could find. :D Or better yet, buy an alarm. But, why do you need a gun for house defense? 99,9% of all burglaries occur when you're not home and in the other 0,1% the thief will probably run off as soon as he realises his mistake. And if you are absolutely, positively hellbent on having a shotgun then please, use beanbags instead of lethal ammo. Its better for everyone.

I played K1 as LS but then decided to reload and play it from the temple a Darkside.. I felt so increadibly ****ty about it afterwards that I had to replay it as LS again to ease my mind. Why did Mission have to die?! Why?!! :'( Im tryig to replay K2 now as darkside and its difficult, not because I feel guilty but because you're not really evil, you're more of an a s s h o l e . Arent villains allowed to be clever and sophisticated in their evil? Does it always have to be "Me strong, me says I kills you and take money" ? Its so bloody stupid.

I got the inside scoop on a vaguely similar trouble with an ISP. My dad was buying a satellite broadband connection from a company where two of my best friends worked on the back office(not sure if its a correct translation, its the guys who know what they're doing) support. Anyway my dad was left to wait for weeks and months while they just said that they were working on it. So I asked them what the real problem was, and it came out that they hadnt been able to contract a tech for setting up the system at dads house. There were no locals with the required skills and noone wanted to travel 1000km from the capital to set it up. They hadnt told dad what was really going on because that would have made them look incompetent :D
