In order to avoid misunderstandings, we can send order without any confusing abbrevations? Like Moves Constantinople army to Bulgaria or Builds a fleet at Smyrna Or do we have to use abbrevations so that we will make more fun mistakes? -
The problem is that the Heer ones have the totenkopfs and the WSS has the SS runes But I have found a possible sollution http://www.waffen-ss.no/SEPP.htm This one is a it gaudy but the only thing is a very tiny swastika on the arm eagle(the medals&stuff arent included) and a "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler" cufftitle but the text is unreadable :D so you get panzer without the nasty nazi stuff. EDIT: the cuff title marks the wearer as a soldier in the 1st Panzerdivision, not that the jacket belongs to any B
-
Yeah, apparently they reissued them 1957 with the swastikas removed so he was probably wearing one of those. As a fellow discovery channel damaged person, do you think its normal to wear a german panzer uniform jacket in public? Im very keen on buying one.

Dont friggin try to deny it, the japanese are masters of skimping in on animation. jap top 3 tricks: 1. Still picture with moving, looping background. Often used when attacking someone. 2. Still picture moving up and down to simulate walking. 3. Long sequence with character just standing still making weird japanese "oooh..aaaaah?... hnnnn....mmmmm" noises. this one usually has very minimal mouth movement
-
I dont know, the other ones... that have all the cool guns ..and those guns are Swedish Bofors M77 Howitzers "
-
160 episodes!?! Well, with regards to how the japs usually avoid actually animating the characters that is understandable.

When I was in the ph34rd MoH:AA monkey-clan we often went on public servers to rape people when we were bored. It was great Just now i was playing Bf2 and I successfully raped the American base and was about to take their flag when the cannons started firing. Im thinking "This better not be 'Broken arrow' or Im so very dead." Second later Im blown to smithereens as the shells hit (broken arrow = camp overrun, all artillery to fire on our own position)
-
Oh, yeah? And youre a poopie-head Ive been playing online now just random games and I really wish I was in a clan again, because its just complete chaos. The maps are far too big and everyone is just running around aimlessly. I had better games playing against the computer. Its fun because the chopper people are so busy playing with their new toys that you can easily take them down using a jeep and switching position between gunner/driver But this game would RULE at a LAN when you got your friends with you and you can coordinate movement at actually use tactics.

Moon cannon causes panic in Britain by Ludwig Rotwang, Berlin Recent articles in the Brittish press give the impression that their general public is once again frightened by completely unsubstantiated and quite imaginary threats to their safety. The news of the contruction of our german device to launch vessels into space has apparently sent them hiding in their collective basements. Most continental Europeans would simply laugh at such a ridiculous notions. German officials have already dismissed any rumours of the scientific device having any use as a weapon, but we saw fit to contact the project mamager for the moon cannon, Proffessor Karl Hungus, for a comment; "The moon cannon is a tool of science, not a weapon" says Hungus. "It would take someone with a rather paranoid imagination to see it as anything else than a scientific advance. And Ive never heard of this man they arrested, he was certainly never a member of my team." The good proffessor was even kind enough to supply us with a basic plan for his next development project, a sorts of mobile motordriven grain disperser for sowing. "This grain disperser could revolutionize agriculture worldwide" explains Hungus. "It functions by firing a massive shell loaded with hundreds of kilos of grain over a field. The shell is equipped with a timed fuse that will cause the shell to explode above the field and scatter the seeds over a wide area. This will allow farmers to sow an entire field in a matter of minutes. It can even be made to launch the shell over a distance to allow fields miles away to be sowed without moving the disperser. I will name this device 'The Karl grain disperser' after myself." -

A battlefield is no place for a sniper, they're used exclusively for recon or sabotage at ranges of +500m. Most armies have designated marksmen in the squads these days but theyre just ordinary soldiers with a small scope like an ACOG mounted on their assault rifle. And there is no function of a sniper in MPFPS games that another class couldnt fill. Its just FPS tradition and an annoying tradition at that.

I think the defintion of what a dimension is supposed to be gets fuzzy when you approach those theories. According to my definition of dimensions, theyre not. I dont even fully agree that change/movement/time would be the 4th dimension, but rather effects or forces working within 3 dimensional space. Mathematics can be used to describe nearly all things in the the universe but it can also describe many things that are impossible(like an X^5 cube revolving around a X^3 cube)
-
Its just a tool. Ive never understood those people who obsess about it. 10^4 is a hypercube that rotates around a plane where an ordinary cube rotates around an axis. But in reality, the ONLY thing you can possibly rotate around is an axis.(or a point if we're talking 2D) Sort of like how M-theory says there has to be 11+ dimensions for its calculations to work out. But there are only 4 real dimensions(XYZ and time/change/movement).
-
Its interesting to see how theyve balanced reality vs gameplay. For instance the US MG(m249) fires faster than a standard M4/M16 but the bullets dont do much damage I think I shot 100 rounds at an enemy from 10m away before he finally died. But the snipers... why does every MP FPS have to have snipers, a class that is a symbol of bad gameplay? Most people want to go out in a hail of bullets and large fiery explosions, not be picked off by some jerk camper hiding in a sweetspot.

You dont really need the medic, no. You usually bite the dust pretty quick. What the medic class in Bf1942 was used for, was as immortal stormtroopers since they could heal themselves indefinently. Ive been looking at the demo and everything is awesome except that the whole thing with registering with gamespy servers etc. is unnescessary, I just wanna play damnit!! And I find it very distrubing that not only do you have to restart the game if you change the graphics, but you also have to wait for up to several minutes for it to "optimize textures" <_< so tweaking the graphics is a VERY time consuming process. And i accidentally choose swedish as language so it feels kind of funny. But its fun. Just shooting yor gun into the air is fun then you know theyve done it right. *shoots AKN94 into air*

Real bona fide swedish proggressive from the golden 1970's Sammla Mammas Manna(collecting mothers grain) is mostly instrumental songs so no part of the musical experience is lost to foreigners. Its crazy stuff :D should you be interested in experiencing them, then I recommend the album "Klossa Knapitalet"(clush the cnapital) but the cover is very ugly. -

It wasnt called that originally, it had numerous names like "the psyechedelic soldier" but most of them got lost once they determined its was going to be Apocalypse Now. That names comes from a graffitti in Kurtz camp, it was just supposed to be this wild psychedelic thing with connections to Joseph Conrads "The Heart of Darkness" and TS Eliots poem "The hollow men" which is the two litterary works Apocalyspe is based on. The end lines of the hollow men is: "this is the way the world ends, not with a bang, but with a whimper" Theres a scene when Dennis Hopper is hopped up on coke and rambling on and Kurtz throws a book at him and he says "The world ends, not with a bang, but with a whimper. And with a whimper Im ****ing splitting, man!"
