For instance theres a class in "Game balance and level design" for online multiplayers games or one for "interactive drama". It seems very interesting. The really nice thing is that you will get to make games, the class will work like a developer and there will be talent scouts from big publishers popping in once in a while to check out what were doing. A friend of mine got a contract for the game he was making with his friends.

Yes, I believe Mr. Digital is spot on! :D As I said it is fully possible to play as human although you might want to take the occasional sip of vampirirc blood from time to time since it auguments you very nicely both physicly and mentally. Such a human would be refered to as a "ghoul" although the term is very silly, you wont become some sort of zombie. You will merely become physicly more resilient and have access to lower level vampiric powers. And regarding the time, how would you say if we pulled a Batman and had a modern world but with a clearl 1920-30's feel to it?

I bought the Zalman cooler despite the fact that the webshop claimed "Does not fit ASUS card" because Zalman themselves write nothing about it on their website, and the webshop said nothing about the AC NV Silencer 5 that really does not fit ASUS card(without modyfying the power connector)

Its am Antec Sonata with extra dampening padding, I dont know if its the old one or the Sonata 2. The case is dead silent if I stop the GPU fan so I am as a matter of fact, sitting with my hand on the "order" button for one of these although I just noticed that a german site has measured something called "glacialtech northpole 1000" to be much quieter... but I just read that they dont fit the 6800's AND I just read that the AC NC Silencer 5 is really good at only half the prize of Zalmans, but it doesnt fit ASUS cards... GAH!

I tried to find the old thread but sems to have got lost somewhere. Anyway now it has been confirmed(a while ago actually) that I was accepted into a game development program in the University of Gotland, Sweden. The Swedish Uni system works a bit different than the English or US counterparts, but its split into programming and graphics and Im into graphics. Unfortunantly, they work with 3DS Max and Ive been a Maya man so Ill have to learn a whole new toolset. I really hope we are going to have some time over to use the Universitys wicked gadgets(like the MoCap studio) to make some really sweet mods :D With luck, I might even get to do NWN2 modules as an official project when that comes out

Id love to run it in a 1920's setting, although someone would need to give me a rough estimate of the exchange course as I have no idea how much a dollar would uy you in those days :D Dark City has a Vampire population of about one hundred, although it could be up to 150, noone really knows " but even with such a large number, most of the people you encounter will be ...people And Requiem doesnt have generations, so although possible, diablerie is not necessary to become more powerful. "Blood potency" as it is called increases with time or can be increased with experience points

The kindred of this vast city are numerous and there exists no real organisation or structure among them other than those who meet through their Covenants. Two kindred could spend 100 years in the city without ever meeting eachother. __________ This chronicle would take place in the present or near future although Im open to changing it to a 1920's setting. __________ I will allow vampire, ghoul or even human characters of no age longer than 50 years as unliving. Any clan or bloodline from the main requiem book are allowed with the exception of the Burakunin. You will be granted an extra 50 experience points at character creation. Well, I kind of have to go off to University in two weeks and I cant say what kind of schedual Ill be on there.. classes cant go on for longer than 1600 but there could be other stuff.. I guess we will see then. I could very well do it this thursday, but then youd have to create characters REAL fast.. all you need is to come up with a concept and Ill do the rules bit. You could start off as human if youd like, I know Ive got a really nice prelude planned... or you could just continue to play as human if youd like that

Sound is what makes you "feel" a game, if you have poor sound effects, players wont be able to feel what is happening. It is especially important in FPS games, the way the weapons sound can make or break a game. I recall too many games that failed because the guns sounded like someone was banging two wooden boards together Music is tertiary Im afraid, its nice to have but its not essential.

As a note, WW has divided their new releases so that you will need both "Vampire: Requiem" and "World of darkness rulebook" to be able to create characters on your own. If anyone feels this is a problem then Ill be happy to create your characters stats, all I need is a good concept description.
