  1. New documentary proves Peyton Manning bribed Chargers defense early this morning, likely with bacon, into forcing five Denver turnovers, ensuring removal of Brock Osweiler at quarterback and a storybook season ending for Manning. You're welcome, Peyton!
  2. Usually, most days I wake up a nerdy little D&D kid, but I found a second home with this game ... it's so fun it makes me feel smart, attractive, and powerful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtgNUFSoHv8 Plus you get a dog. He even spins around before laying down.
  3. CPU or I wonder if the hard drives ... did you put new ones in this build, or ... I remember something went wrong last time, too ... overheating? No judgment for reusing personal drives ...
  4. Unlimited money ... I would absolve national student loan debt and subsidize tuition. Then look for a really good steak and cheese sandwich. Finally, I'd buy a football team and build a new stadium.
  5. This MGSV was a good buy. It's single-player third-person stealth shooting set in 1984. All the combat mechanics are smooth, I'm not fighting the controls like with most other games. Plus there's cassette tapes with 80's tracks. Kiefer Sutherland is the voice of Big Boss, the player character ... he's a good actor. I can see why game designer Hideo Kojima has so many fans.
  6. Have you tried flogging the guest who obviously broke your computer.
  7. Yeah that wasn't as thrilling as I'd hoped for Christmas basketball. Bonk ... bonk, bonk, bonk ... by both teams for minutes at a time, seemed like.
  8. I'm doing it, my first Metal Gear. Sister gave me a gift card conveniently in-time for the Holiday flash sale on PSN. With any luck, tomorrow will be a fun day of The Phantom Pain.
  9. What is a catch? ... no one knows ... not the league, not Santa, or referees, or replay video. My grandma ... Except any sane person with one eye knows what a catch is. Officials reversed Ladarius Green's 30-yard game-clincher TD reception after he landed face-first in the end-zone, the ball secure in one arm, his right hand in contact with the ball yet visibly in motion. Disappointing. Still, happy trails and congratulations on retiring, Charles Woodson, of the Raiders, gifted their last home victory by the NFL's absurd catch rule. No hard feelings.
  10. She-Hulk by Paul Pelletier

  11. There is on Dxun--a Mandalorian scout will fast-travel for you after reaching their camp. Open-world eye-candy ... I'm in the middle of Dragon Age: Inquisition and it's straight-up Apocalypse Now weird. Knights II couldn't be more different ... with the official updates and the TSLRCM ... I finally was able to convert all the NPCs to Jedi. The Handmaiden and her sisters and Atris, all on Telos and a big melee battle I'd never seen before felt like a multi-boss battle, scrambling because I wasn't expecting it. Lot of fun.
  12. I may need a break from drinking ... last night I dreamed it was too late to get a Christmas gift for someone named Shady Pants.
  13. Don't forget to delete your avatar, GD!
  14. How smart is smart. I mean, what does it mean to be intelligent. What if you have a vocabulary of two-hundred thousand words, locked down in form and function, until and when speaking publicly ... whereupon it evaporates ... are you smart in quantity but stupid in quality? Asking for a friend.
  15. Sensational She-Hulk by John Byrne

  16. Same day premiere in the US and UK, which I think is a first for Sherlock. I was going to watch college football January 1st, but, I have since been admonished how B0RING the sport is L0L. Period.
  17. Woody runs it in once and catches three more: four touchdowns by the little guy in the Chargers series finale.
  18. Not the NFL, but I'm shocked and delighted to see BYU turn it over five times their first five possessions. 34-0 Utah with 4:38 left, in the first quarter.
  19. Was working hard for Cassandra's approval until I noticed a big update available for The Golf Club ... snow-covered courses! Except I can't start either game, I'm hypnotized by this tropical dynamic theme with real-time day/night cycles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rt_KCfk64EQ
  20. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qslJQUMc9yA
  21. I don't know ... last night I heard Americans et al. may obtain a free college education in Germany, taught in English. Not a bad idea to relocate. Do you know how long it takes to repay student loans ... longer than a heart has beats.
  22. I wasn't there, but I see three San Diego breweries that were ... Belching Beaver, Stone, AleSmith ... so, I mean, technically, by geographical association, I was kind of like almost there. I really need to try that Horchata stout.
  23. For some reason this reminds me of 2004 when I mistakenly voted for the nadir of candidates. I'm no Machiavelli, though, I don't understand the ins and outs. Is it splitting the vote?
  24. No way there are 100 million Islamic extremists. Hoping not, anyway.
  25. Probably a little of everything. I figured on starting with The Crying Game, then every minute of Home Alone, ending it all with Neil Diamond's Christmas album.
