  1. It's from Project Eternity ... Obsidian streamed the final moments of the Kickstarter and the chat noticed one of the devs wearing a well-fitting green shirt.
  2. I may have fainted when she finally beat the sawblade level.
  3. INFJ-T
  4. Good fun, I've had it on all morning. Turns out, Mikey is the consummate potty-mouth. Someone traded their green shirt for two tickets to the gun show ...
  5. If this were true, it would be trending number-one across nerd-world media. Disney owns Star Wars, but 20th Century Fox owns the right to distribute the original movie--for a length of time described as, 'in perpetuity'. Hopefully rumors of the project are true, but Fox would have to pay for a digital frame-by-frame remaster using privately-owned laserdiscs and film reels.
  6. I can't immerse in escapism when the local ABC affiliate tags an entire SHIELD episode with a graphical radar overlay, feigning interest in my well-being as a citizen with proof that water falling from the sky is imminent. It's not a hurricane, Channel 10, it's not a tornado ... no one is at risk ... stop ruining my life. edit: I was wrong, as usual, people are in danger
  7. Well, I was not disappointed by Lou Diamond Phillips, obviously, since that would be impossible, but the TV show he guest-starred in, is becoming nutbags-predictable ... even with the inimitable Jaimie Alexander. The premiere episode was like a 10, losing one point per episode ... feels about like a 4 now. My new favorite upcoming video game is Fallout ... Fallout 4, featuring Lynda Carter, Wonder Woman, as a completely voiced character Magnolia who sings four original songs in the game.
  8. Oh man, I was so excited ... a fortress of solitude in National City ... then Henshaw's eyes started glowing--he hates aliens because he is one, just like the dad in A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon hated his neighbor's wife in front of his family because he was secretly in love with her.
  9. Hopefully because they don't want to spoil a dramatic reveal of the skull. But yeah, I'm pumped to see Frank, too.
  10. I think I would almost rather die from whatever they didn't find because I didn't go in ... instead of going in and dying right away from being laughed at.
  11. Ha, he's not writing it either. They're still looking for a writer ... Kurtzman will executive produce. Is there any difference? Maybe not, but ...
  12. It won't be in the Abrams-verse ... movie rights and TV rights are owned separately, apparently.
  13. I first noticed it while watching sports ... suddenly I could hear the smallest details ... McIlroy twirling his club, a velcro batting glove undone at first-base--it felt like I was standing within three feet. So then I started watching movies and TV with headphones ... twice as much audio seemed to be available. I was just wondering if you guys watch your media with headphones, or, if you're super successful and enjoy 14.2 wireless DTS after putting the kids to bed in their hyperbaric bunk-beds.
  14. I feel weird and old that I remember watching the last World Series Kansas City won over the Cardinals. edit: because my dad was from St. Louis and Ozzie Smith was like Michael Jordan, that's why.
  15. I was just gonna say, Duda, you had one job. I should be rooting for the Royals, my grandma is buried within horse-and-buggy distance of KC, but, I don't know, Harvey was pretty compelling.
  16. 10 injuries in one game, including a career-ending ruptured Achilles ... and the league wants me to believe Football is Family™.
  17. Pretty sure it was Satin that made the ball go under his glove.
  18. I'm pretty excited for Lou Diamond Phillips to appear on Blindspot ... Young Guns might be my favorite Western. Other than that, I am most looking forward to 20th Century Fox releasing a theatrical version of Star Wars.
  19. Had to search this, looks really good.
  20. Actually I'm interested. Since learning my football team is about to be euthanized, I wanted to know if I can channel the feeling of perpetual disappointment into being a Padres fan instead. I haven't been to a game since they played at Qualcomm and Trevor Hoffman was the franchise ... but I've seen inside Petco Park from high up in downtown ... it's pretty cool. edit: oopsey, yep, this is the right sport to jump the heartbreak ship ... two consecutive errors by the same guy, giving up three runs in one inning, blowing the whole series. I'm home, baseball.
  21. Maybe, probably, but, once in awhile, that moment she touches your arm and looks you in the eye ... seems to be a meaning in there somewhere.
  22. Yay, Halloween, drinking, swearing, video games! http://www.twitch.tv/obsidian Edit: turns out this wasn't only about my favorite things including anal mist, it's for a good cause happening next Saturday for 24 hours. https://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donate.participant&participantID=164995
  23. Me too, I don't know many regular players, I just love the smell of newly printed cardstock. It's the ink, I think.
  24. Luke is Kylo Ren's uncle, who is twin brother to Rey, daughter of Han and Leia. The anguish on Leia's face in the trailer, is knowing the fate of the galaxy--once in the hands of her parents, then her own--now rests with Leia's children who stand on opposing sides of the Force. The ghost of Sebastian Shaw told me everything.
  25. Thanks! Yeah, watching the city at night from a high vantage point is pretty awesome. Would make a nice place for a romantic date I think. You are totally seeing your hair stylist outside of work.
