    Yeah, last night local news showed a snippet of Padres 'bench coach' Mark McGwire. I remember in '97, someone in red with a really similar name. Not sure if same, or if he preferred pineapple or orange juice.

    I uh, tip-toed over to the Ravens' page, just to see. It was creepy and purple, but mostly positive for Weddle. Saw the term 'logjam' describing Baltimore's safety corps. And the main video comment doofus said Eric's beard is the best in the league. It was, but he shaved six weeks ago. Pretty handsome for a defensive player. Good luck, Eric!

    Wide-eyed, cried a little, Supergirl. Chuckled, laughed out loud, Lucifer. Bored to tears with manufactured micro-drama, Blindspot. Which bothers me twice as much, Jaimie Alexander is my go-to gal. I mean she's great, the show around her, not. There's still like 15 minutes left and I don't even care.

    Ha, clearly Bill could never properly enjoy lasagna. I'm afraid it was 1983 when book drives were popular ... decades before anyone on this forum was in sixth-grade. Except Monte and Wals, but they don't post anymore. My favorite purchase was an NFL poster with all 28 teams.

    Oh man, I would spend all my lawnmowing money on a new Garfield book every year when the school book drive came around. I had plush toys of Garfield, Odie, and Nermal. I'm weird.

    Not sure what the story is with this whole Cactus League thing, but the Padres are 3-9 so far. Couldn't suck less if they were in the Succulent League. On the other hand, new manager Andy Green is a stat-filled leader of men ... there's kind of a halo of optimism surrounding him. Could be a mirage.

    How does grouping work, is that like getting picked last for a gym team. I would usually go second-to-last, or sometimes third-to-last for the volleyball team.

    Thank you. Just checked my local store and they carry Woodford at a reasonable price. Half the cost of a brand new video game and lasts twice as long.

    What's off about Spidey, I think, are his eye sockets ... comically [sic] too small for his head. Yes, re-reading Civil War is a challenge. I maintain the prediction my favorite character will suddenly stand up on-screen during the movie and fully three people across the country will faint. Everyone else will assume it's Gamora.

    Actually, the Hudson Four Grain bourbon is amazing. My buddy gifted me a 375, which is all it comes in, supposedly. *no, beer sampling was legal, just not at the same time as a farmer's market
