Everyone is coming from where I come from, today. Low-light blues and creeping what-if's. Exercise helps trick my limbs into thinking they have a purpose, for the time being, usually the mind follows. I just have to remember to trick my brain, too. I'm happy. I'm so happy. These cookies are amazing. Actually the thing that works best, is having something to look forward to, for me. Just the anticipation of next month's Playstation launch, for example, might keep me going heads-up into the winter. There ain't no Mrs. Manifested, so a brother's got to manage.

Not just a third-wheel situation, more like a giant caravan hitched to the Citroen. Don't do it, man, don't go on holiday.

Yeesh, I can't imagine someone making their living as a developer being so short and testy with another dev. And on Super Nintendo, I don't remember a lot of strategic role-playing. I suppose I imagined myself in the role of Diddy Kong, and it required some strategy to swim past those nasty purple biter fish things ...

Well, I should say game-saves aren't like Skyrim where you can save anywhere, anytime. You have to get to a store, usually, sell the bollocks items or buy ammo, then it'll auto-save your progress. Other than that, it's a great game to play for a bit, here and there when you feel like it. And yeah, Blood Dragon is a riot.

I like the stealth portion of Far Cry 3. Sniper rifle is my favorite weapon, hiding in the jungle, red-misting heavily-armored pirate scum. I use it for most human encounters (and the bow), but occasionally rampaging tigers and wild dogs and leopards get close enough without warning, that they need a more face-to-face approach. Same with sharks. It is a beautiful setting on PC, too.

You're good, they're PCI-E connectors for the graphics card ... the listing I'm looking at for the TX-750 says it comes with four 6+2 PCI-E connectors, where you plug in just the six and leave out the two, for 6-pin connections.

Obamacare Guarantees Higher Insurance Premiums
ManifestedISO replied to Gfted1's topic in Way Off-Topic
Mine evaporated last week. Thankfully I have no dependents, and I'm always healthy. Pretty sure it's Big Healthcare that put my existing policy on the block, naturally reacting to government intervention like all private monopolies would. It's not the ACA out for my wallet, it's the healthcare market that wants no part of profit-drains like pre-existing conditions. Big business fighting big government--what a titanic waste of time. -
At least the record shows a definitive answer, finally.

star wars knights of the old republic 3
ManifestedISO replied to starwarskotor3's topic in Obsidian General
Even if Bioware's unannounced IP is a Star Wars RPG, Knights III or even 1313 could go to Obsidian. EA knows better than LucasArts how long the memories of SW fans are ... and EA is as determined as Disney, to keep from botching this property. The only question is, if Feargus would say yes, after the tear-inducing Knights II incident. -

They bought us all the newest Transformers action figures. No, but I did manage to get one of the new Star Wars Black Series Boba Fett figures. For my brother's birthday last week, but it doesn't ship until 12/2. Pre-order was only live for about three days. And that's just for Fett, not the SDCC exclusive version with Han Solo in carbonite, going for $250 now, after retail of only $45.- 261 replies

That day will be when cars also become fully automated. I'm sensibly direct with most issues, but when the self-driving Neo Prius horde takes over, I will literally Hulk into a loud-mouthed internal combustion alarmist. TAKE BACK THE WHEEL

America runs on literality. Every word in the bible is literally true; every word of the Constitution is literally applicable; every dollar of national debt is a literal representation of incompetence; there is literally an invisible hand guiding capital markets; bills, laws, ideas and intent are all literally good for the nation if they have a simple, positive title. Context, nuance, and translation have literally no place in America.

Oh, cool. I love Ruby's Diner in Laguna, and Aliso beach nearby is kinda hidden away and has plenty of parking and open sand. Javier's just up the road also in Laguna is a must-visit cantina. And the Irvine Spectrum ... I mean it's literally right next door to Obsidian ... might as well have dinner and movie while you stalk the Obs crew. Edit: evidently Javier has moved his establishment up to Newport. I'll try to be more current before I recommend someplace.

Ah, well it was the [H] guys that made me think the 290X was designed for 4K: And this is all with DX11. Now I wonder if Mantle is as low-level as they say. If something as simple as fan speed on the 290X can deliver double-digit improvement, what sort of speed could we see from a pedal-to-the-metal API.
