    I remember the game BLACK on PS2 had some fantastic shoulder-fired RPG elements. It had everything, from stealthy pistol work, to great big set pieces with bazookas. Nice physics and outstanding audio design really made that game. Edit: whoops, I mean, it was the worst RPG game

    Do they have to be living companions, what's wrong with questing to affect the release of a lich's undead ostrich, or ... ostri-lich. A fiercely loyal companion, it would be. Might even have its own ossuary inside the skull of a cassowary.

    The worst RPG game is the one where I accidentally use a VIN number at the ATM machine. I am terrible at the game of real-life.

    No wonder the 'wegians are winning the medal count, now. Their children can drive 3,000lb machines in arctic snow drifts, carrying other, smaller children and get away with it. Stay strong, little man!

    My CBR turns 20, tomorrow. Twenty years! Actually it was technically born Feb. '92 in Japan, but kindly waited eighteen months just for me on the dealer floor.

    Maybe you shouldn't use a pirated version of the game ....... It happens to paid-for versions. For some reason, Origin installs DA:O that is not up to date and won't allow access to all the DLC you paid for. Babaganoosh is correct, patch 1.05 will fix it.

    Anyone else crashing to desktop in-game after installing Patch Tuesday Win7 64. Damn three times already.

    For what it's worth, we use dates like "4th quarter 2014", or 4Q14 for short. I wish the window was the last three months of the year, but I think they are literally referring to the final ten days of 2014, after December 21, when winter officially begins.

    Never wanted a Bio-mance or Romeo's Juliet, just a nice, tawdry, illicit affair, tactfully implemented with an edge that when crossed, could reduce my character to a pile of ash, same as a mage's spell.

    The fervor of the anti-romance crowd is what makes this decision so annoying. I don't care about romances nearly as much as I hate seeing a roomful of three-year old twits get their way.

    Does it feel worth a subscription? That is super hard to say. It feels like I will get a good 40-60 hours of it, like I get out of every Elder Scrolls game. But I always peter out on the single player games after a month. So I think it is worth the box price and I will enjoy the first month, and I will see where I am at after that. Apparently more than $200 to play that game for the first year ... whew, much cost, very money, wow

    This only makes sense in hindsight. The first thing Obsidian could have done after receiving 400% is an update pushing Spring '14 out the window. They did not, and in the last week, four different news outlets printed articles saying PoE will not release in April.
