Oh, that mod is great by the way. Flying battleships rocks, trying to get them through trade lanes without your nav computer dieing with a fizzle of smoke rocks even more.

Played the demo, was impressed with some of the features, it had a lot of little 'cool' things, both in terms of game mechanics, and in details in the levels/weapons/hostiles, but it didn't once scream 'buy me' in any way that would even remotely make me consider if over Half-life2. I'm not big into FPSs for their own sake, though I can very much appresiate them as 'action games', which is somthing that HL2 delivered very nicely. But Prey, like Sins, is probably great for someone begging for a new FPS fix, it's cirtainly very compitant, but it's still really just for the FPS fans. EDIT: YES I KNOW THAT SAYING THAT AN FPS IS FOR FPS FANS IS MILDLY STUPID, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. RAGE.

For the love of god, yes. Starlancer coop can be a blast, but Freespace 2 is where it's at. Xwing Alliance kept me entertained for a time too, as did Tacyon, but a new GOOD space sim is needed. Well, same with a new battletec game. EDIT: and freespace doesn't count. Good game, but not a 'space sim'.

It's why I prefer rugby.

While there were very few 'gamestopping' bugs, the buggiest game that I have ever played that was still worth playing despite them has to be Hidden and Dangerous. Falilng through floors, drivables doing exceptionally odd things, stuff like that, it was all in the 'gameplay' rather than random crashes, but dear lord could it be frustrating. Yes, I know this post is only loosely related to the actual topic.
