Taking it slow in Fell Seal, training up my expanding roster of characters. Got my first "secret" class, turning one of my dudes into a Werewolf. Just randomly looted a phylactery, so looking forward to turning a sorcerer into a Lich.

None of them are bad. Except for Smuggler from Act 2 onward. Act 1 Smuggler is great. Then they ran out of ideas and just throw you a personal nemesis your character has no reason to care about. On top of that, the starting companion for Smuggler is also rather bland. I like the Imperial Agent storyline.

Give them Viconia and see how that works out for them!

The DLC for Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark allows the taming of monsters. This is Nizzly: Nizzly's species uses a unique type of magic called Jellymancy.

I have played quite a bit of Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark now. The game made a very good first impression on me, so I bought the DLC which expands it greatly. I recommend it to people who enjoy this kind of tactics game. It doesn't seem to have the kind of secrets that require multiple playthroughs, you'd get in a Japanese game of the style (Tactics Ogre comes to mind), and so far I have not encountered a single choice in the story. Though I am not sure how far in I am. The game gives a strong Kickstarter vibe, so it may be shorter story-wise than it would be with a big studio behind it.

After grabbing a key from Oner over in the Great Game Giveaway (where you may want to drop in and see if there is anything you'd like), I started today with Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark. I have played 1 hours and 10 minutes so far apparently. I could play more. But I want to have dinner. Definitely a very positive first impression.

Kingdom of Amalur had a strong starting zone and an interesting end zone for the game. But everything in-between was filler. Just goes to show that hiring a big name to write your story isn't enough.
