So basically very brave, heroic NPC pilots attacked a destroyer and you used their noble sacrifice to steal their loot? And why didn't this story end with "I salvaged the destroyer; dragged it back to my base, only to find out I didn't have a big enough hangar bay." It is what a true keyrock X4 experience would be. Are you sure you are you?

Up to the end of the first investigation it at least has been more challenging and felt more involved. District Unrest rises faster, causing Anarchy to rise (I reached Anarchy 5 while trying to minimize unrest). You get swarmed by opponents so have to plan moves far more. Just finished the first investigation (Gray Phoenix) and now I am at Anarchy 1 again, with agents at fairly good level, so things may calm down.

I can't put a finger to it, but there is something about Bloodlines promotionals that makes me less interested in playing the game.

Nope, no dwarven treasure hunters. The game didn't do well enough for them to look into the extra warbands that were added through wyrdstone magazine. And as it is a GW license, anything that was added after they discontinued the miniature game, may have been added by Tuomas and be as good as official, but it won't be covered by official licenses. Human Mercenaries, Chaos Cult, Skaven, Sisters of Sigmar, Vampires, and Witch Hunters. That's the warbands in the game.
