Getting talents right and learning your stances is the basis of the game. I died to Mushriga last night. The story boss was no trouble. Also died to Frafnir. But that doesn't count as I am nowhere near beating him. At least I beat the burnacle.
-
Did you beat them in the end?

omg the swimming level, the sound effects, I need this game. It is a good example of how strange games could be back then.

Not playing anything. Installed the epic Store and been I'll since.

Tried the new build for Phoenix Point. My heavy is useless. Most my soldiers are. But the heavy is in a league of their own. Can't hit a building.
-
I might have as well.

I took a break after rescuing Taika

The Epic Store gives Oxenfree for free. Which made me chuckle.

Tears of joy, I am certain

You are dead to me! Dead! How was my funeral?

I'll be installing the Epic Store tonight

I'm not pre-ordering a year in advance. Halfway through someone is bound to make a flash sale on the pre-order and I'll kick myself

As always, the "disappointment" with the first bloodline came mostly from having followed it since announcement. When every vampire was planned to be unique. When there weren't going to be hordes of nameless enemies. Then you got to the end of the game and the sabbat were just that.

I'm patiently waiting for Stygian. November I think...

Following Mamoulian into Earthlock. Quite a few little and not so little changes. New Trade Post location with repeatable gather quests. Little bird cages seem to be hidden in locations, letting you free the crows inside. They seem to really have fleshed out the game with what had been missing.

Apparently you are just playing a better game Though I was happy with the original as well.

I need to replay that. Haven't tried the remastered version.

I don't count Jack as he was the pen and paper character used to give fans a feeling of World of Darkness. And he wasn't really himself in the game. Smiling Jack isn't the fatherly type. The taxi driver was an easter egg. LaCroix did not impress me. Nines was the arch-typical Brujha Anarch. I mostly remember Nines because of the Malkavian dialogue with him. OK, the most memorable thing about most characters is the Malkavian dialogue. When you say jump, I say WHERE IS THE CLIFF!!! The Voermann twins were the character with the most interesting dialogue based on themselves and not the player. Beckett felt underused. Of course the whole game felt as if Santa Monica was fleshed out and then they started running out of funds. Which isn't too far from the truth I guess. I'll agree with <string of numbers>U about VV.

It would be nice if the male npcs were as interesting this time round as the female ones.

Do you even know what they are doing "different" or is this just the usual internet rant of "Oh, my freedom is being taken from me by the evil left" ?

And some internet troll is trying to use the excitement for Bloodlines 2 to get clicks by throwing around SJW buzzwords and accusing Paradox of censorship. Yay! Well, if the hateful gnomes of the net are already rallying against the game, it must be good.

Brian is passionate about writing and trying to create immersive worlds. Dead State had a lot of issues, but Brian's writing was not one of them.

Sure, but nowhere near as much as the Sabbat, I'm just going for what I think is most likely. First Bloodline game was rather ironic in this regard. Smiling Jack "mentors" you in the tutorial, while in the pen and paper he was known for embracing in camarilla cities and moving on to cause chaos.
