  1. I can't help it if the rest of y'all (except @Wormerine)are too lazy to post trailers. I'm doing all the heavy lifting by myself over here.
  2. Looks like the character creator will still let you make a weird and/or hideous boss, which is good. More importantly, are they bringing back the best mini game ever, Insurance Fraud?
  3. I feel like Nasty would some more like this: "Listen you little ****, we don't do hygiene in this house. Now rub some dirt on your face before I feed you to a ****ing Skex."
  4. Can I have all the teens survive? Do I want all of them to survive?
  5. I've survived getting infected by dark elex, I'm not worried about VD.
  6. @BruceVCeat your heart out. Who could resist an offer like that?
  7. While not nearly as good as the first movie, I thought Predator 2 was a perfectly competent and enjoyable sequel.
  8. I should be nearing the end game in Elex 2. I'm level 38 and I'm pretty much walking death. I can still be killed if I get sloppy, but nothing scares me any more. There's nothing out there that I can't obliterate. Max level Alb magic is terrifying and it's not even my best weapon. Most of my companions are at true friend relationship status, I think only Falk and Bully aren't and they admire me, so I'm close to true friend with them. With any luck, I'll finish Elex 2 before The Quarry comes out. I was always interested in playing Until Dawn, but I never did, for whatever reason. Seeing as this is essentially Until Dawn 2: Slasher Movie Boogaloo, this is my chance to right that wrong, sort of. Plus, I kinda want something to flex the xXxBOxXx's graphical muscles. While The Quarry does still have last gen versions, so it's likely not going to push the xXxBOxXx nor the PS5 to its limits (it's likely 6 months to a year before we get games like that), it should give Forza Horizon 5 a run for its money for prettiest game I have on Microsoft's console. Reviews are starting to come in and they're generally positive, so I might take the plunge and see if I can help a group of campers survive the night.
  9. Pros: I'm all for weird Korean mind**** mystery/drama. Cons: The gameplay seems to be entirely QTEs. It looks like a David Cage game, except not made by David Cage, so presumably much better.
  10. The Milla Resi movies are terrible, but they're fun terrible, not boring terrible.
  11. First Hard West then Weird West and now... When do we get an East West?
  12. I was in my local Food Lion the other day and I noticed some wines were on sale due to closeout. I guess they have different stock coming in and need to make room on the shelves. I decided to give this a try: It was so tasty that I was kinda sad that it was the last bottle on the shelf. Lo and behold, I stopped in that same store today on the way home and they must have had more in the back because the shelf was restocked. I bought all 6 bottles. If they restock the shelf again I'll clean them out again in a few days. I don't know much about wine. A sommelier could take one sip of that wine, puke their guts out, and tell me it's raw sewage. I just know what I like and that's some delicious wine right there.
  13. My default stance on any video game based movie or show is "it's probably going to be terrible". So far that stance has proven to have an overwhelmingly high accuracy rate. So with that in mind, the Resident Evil show will probably be terrible. I will admit that I kinda like the Milla Jovovich movies. They were terrible, but they were an enjoyable terrible because of how goofy and ridiculous they got. Plus, Milla is easy on the eyes. It looks like they're going for a more serious tone with this show.
  14. Why would they need to restock ingredients? Almost everything on Taco Bell's menu, Mexican Pizza included, is comprised of the same 5 ingredients packaged up in various ways. It's tortillas, refried beans, liquid beef, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  15. I'm okay with Trump staying young forever as long as it's Ivanka Trump.
  16. Jax's album is coming along: I guess that killing blow damage = force for the ragdoll of the corpse because enemies and their weapons have a tendency to go flying, sometimes 50+ yards, when I kill them, now that I hit for a lot of damage. On the down side, it makes it a pain to collect loot. On the up side, sometimes the weapon winds up in a hilarious location: I spent about 15 minutes save scumming (refurnishing costs 5000 elexit) while deciding what style to refurnish my house at The Bastion. I wound up going with Alb furnishings, on account of them looking the most comfortable: Berserker furnishings were very barebones. Cleric furnishings were cool but instead of couches and chairs they had uncomfortable looking benches and stools. Morkon furnishings look cool, on account of the spikes and skulls, but the bed looked like a soiled mattress on top of a pallet. Outlaw furnishing were just disgusting looking.
  17. I trust the scammer person calling me on the phone telling me my car's warranty is about to expire more than I trust the government.
  18. I have been refining the cooking process of my Philly cheesesteaks to get the meat, mushroom, pepper, and onion filling to turn into essentially a goo, like @Gromnirwrote about. I have finally achieved this:
  19. 21 year old Iga Świątek won the French Open at Roland Garros for the second time in her career. The Polish phenom has won 6 straight tournaments and 35 straight matches, equaling the longest such streak this century (Venus Williams in 2000). Unsurprisingly, she is ranked #1 by the WTA by a massive margin. https://apnews.com/article/french-open-rafael-nadal-sports-jelena-ostapenko-iga-swiatek-7fbb7f44c8be43617e2b5568c0265442 Her dominance on clay is reminiscent of Rafael Nadal, who will be trying for yet another championship tomorrow. Can she be this dominant on other surfaces?
