  1. Out now on iOS and Android. Also, Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies and Apollo Justice Ace Attorney were previously ported to smartphones. I can't give firsthand impressions as my budget doesn't allow me to buy another game this month currently and I already bought SteamWorld Dig 2, but I'll likely get all of these in the near future. The reviews seem to point to solid ports and these are the types of games that are perfectly suited to be played on phones. Also, Phoenix Wright games are awesome.
  2. The Boys don't play until tomorrow night (hopefully they got their godawful performance out of their system last weekend) so I have nothing to do today except to root against division rivals. Giants played the Iggles. Unfortunately a meteor didn't strike the stadium and we didn't get a tie, so one of those despicable teams had to win and it happened to be the Iggles. G-Men winning would likely have been the lesser of two evils since I consider the Iggles to be a greater threat, but, oh well. Hopefully the Skins **** the bed later tonight.
  3. Well, today's London game was a hellacious ass whoopin', even worse than what my Boys suffered. Blake Bortles looked terrific, Joe Flaccid, not so much.
  4. At this point, I think there have been nearly as many DOA spin-off games as main series fighting game entry. It's becoming a situation like Might & Magic and HoMM, where the original main series becomes forgotten and the spin-off, more or less, becomes the main series. While other publishers are focusing on Triple A development, seems Koei Tecmo are focusing on Double D development.
  5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=112&v=g0E2y1woa0A God bless you, Japan, don't ever change. First boob physics, now butt cheek physics. The next evolution in video gaming.
  6. I'm playing SteamWorld Dig 2, it's awesome. Image & Form are 3 for 3 so far with their games. It's very much like the first SteamWorld Dig, but with an expanded repertoire of abilities and upgrade system. If you haven't played the first SteamWorld Dig, imagine Dig Dug, if Dig Dug was made today instead of 35 years ago and was also a quasi-metroidvania.
  7. How do Russ and Melo coexist on the same team on the court at the same time? Are they going to play with 2 basketballs?
  8. That looked great until I had to look up what Clamato was, I had made a successful stab at it, just looking at the name, but once the clam was confirmed, it kinda put me off, does it tasted fishy? (I hate da fishys ), could you suggest a non fishy alternative, cos I'd love to give it a try! Clamato doesn't taste fishy at all IMHO, the clam juice is barely noticeable, it's just enough to give tomato juice (which is the dominant flavor but kind of bland on its own) some tang and make it less bland. As an alternative you can us a Bloody Mary mix. Then you'll also need lime juice (use an actual fresh lime, thy're cheap and much better than bottled juice), salt, and beer of your choice, of course. The proportions are up to you, experiment until you find the right juice, spices, and proportions to suit your taste. For example, I add a couple dashes of FYM original hot sauce and a little bit of dill weed to my Micheladas, besides Rolling Rock, Clamato, salt, and lime. I probably use roughly 3 ounces of Clamato with a 12 ounce beer (which conveniently fits a pint glass or stein perfectly. Speaking of Steins, when my dad sold our old house in Connecticut and completed the move down to Florida recently (just in time for Irma ) he passed down my late grandfather's stein collection down to me: Some of the steins have some small cracks or chips in them, but some of them are well over 100 years old too.
  9. I have nothing to add to the thread at the moment except to give an approving nod to the title. Edit: Okay, I will add one other thing. I think Malik Monk is going to have the biggest impact on his team of any of the rookies. That dude's going to be special. The Bobcats Hornets are going to make the playoffs, if only to lose in the first round.

  11. After moving down to Charlotte a year and a half ago, I discovered the Michelada, on account of The Queen City's fairly sizable (and growing) population of Mexican descent. It very rapidly became my favorite alcoholic beverage, as I'm sure I've talked about here before. It was already a pretty inexpensive drink to make as I found Rolling Rock to be the best beer to use for it, since it works best with a light, watery beer, rather than something heavy or hoppy, and Rolling Rock is dirt cheap 'round these parts ($6.64 for a 12-pack ). The one semi-expensive component was Clamato, my juice of choice for the drink, but using a cheaper alternative, like tomato juice or V8, produces a significantly more bland drink. Luckily, Walmart now sells a generic brand knockoff for roughly 60% of the price of Clamato, so I get to enjoy my favorite beverage and be even more of a cheap bastard.
  12. Chaos Rising is the best constructed campaign of all the campaigns in DoWII, but Retribution is my favorite, despite the fact that it's the weakest of the 3. It's not nearly as personal a story and everything is a bit more generalized, but it's that way by necessity, since it has to accommodate any of the different factions. Still, you can play through the campaign as Orks, and Orks are hilarious and super fun to play as. Not only is the banter great, Ork abilities are really fun. Unleashing a giant WAAAAAAAAGH! upon your enemies in so joyous. Of course, you don't have to play as Orks, but why wouldn't you? If I recall correctly, the available factions that you can play through the campaign as in Retribution are: Space Marines, Ultramarines, Chaos Marines, Imperials, Orks, Eldar, and Tyranid.
  13. Yeah, it's mostly the internet, plus global warming. Just speaking of hurricanes in the Caribbean (and potentially hitting mainland USA) alone, we'd get tropical storms and hurricanes every year in the past, but usually weaker ones. Category 4s and 5s were a once a decade event. Now we're getting multiple cat 5s a year. It's bonkers! If cat 5s are now garden-variety hurricanes then I shudder to think what a once a decade hurricane will look like.
  14. Glad your family is safe, Hurlshot. Maybe it's just the internet and the immediate availability of news from anywhere in the world, but the frequency of natural disasters seems to be at an all-time high right now. Maybe the end times really are upon us?
  15. EVE has the best story out of any MMOGThe Secret World for my money. Too bad the gameplay is trash.
  16. That sucks, Calax, you got double kicked in the balls. Hang in there. With The End Times nearly upon us and The Rapture right around the corner I've decided to dive headlong into the deep end of the Nibiru Conspiracy Theory pool for the next few days... for science. Now, excuse me as I fashion myself a stylish looking hat out of tin foil.
  17. We're getting beaten like a red headed stepchild by the Donks. Just a shameful display by the Boys.
  18. RIP Bobby "The Brain" Heenan https://twitter.com/JRsBBQ/status/909544054941036544 One of the greatest rasslin' managers and color commentators of all time.

  20. This. Alternatively, you can lure him into a room near the stairs you go up to get to the second level when he's on the balcony. You will probably need to get rid of a guard first then lure him near the room when he's on the balcony by throwing a coin, or whatever, then into the room with another coin or turning on the vacuum in the room. Once you got him alone in the room, you can kill him however you want. The masseuse kill is way more fun, though. I'm sure there are plenty of other ways too.
  21. Childhood can be rough, same with parenting. Hang in there, redneckdevil, you and your daughter will get through this and emerge all the stronger for it.
