  1. Driving a truck for a living makes that nigh impossible. Okay, nigh impossible is a bit strong, let's go with extraordinarily inconvenient.
  2. As a huge fan of cheesetastic FMV games, I am definitely considering picking up Gamer Girl. I'm not sure if it can top the EPIC levels of both hilarity and cringe that Super Seducer achieved, but I'm hopeful. As an aside, how in the world was this not called Gamer Grrrl? Opportunity missed.
  3. I have no empyrical evidence to back this up whatsoever, but my guess is that if you made a venn diagram of Flat Earthers and Anti-Maskers the overlap would be quite significant.
  4. It feels like I'm really close to the end of the game. This was another mission that has a disguise in it and I didn't use it.
  5. @Chilloutman Devolver's presentations have gotten increasingly more bat**** insane every year. They have a whole mythos built up now that's only slightly less convoluted than the AssCreed mythos.
  6. Nina Struthers is the hero we deserve in 2020.
  7. ^ I mean, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is has been a rule for as long as I remember, and almost certainly much longer than that. However, that is offset by there's a sucker born every minute.
  8. I'm on the third and final chapter now. It starts off with the all hope is seemingly lost portion of the story.
  9. I have a wacky idea for the tubing, but I'll keep that one in my back pocket for now.
  10. ^ The post above didn't come out even remotely how I planned to post it, but the forum software is so garbage that I can't even edit it to have it make much sense. Just disregard it.
  11. If I do go through with a custom water loop, I'll make a new thread and detail the process with pictures and such. It won't be flashy, I care not for fancy lights and such. I figure it might be helpful and/or interesting for other people that have never done a custom loop to see a fellow n00b do it. At the end they can draw their own conclusion. For example; that came out alright and didn't look so hard, maybe I'll try it, or, yikes, that looks horrible and that Keyrock guy it terrible, screw that.
  12. I'm kinda tempted to try my hand at a custom water loop this time around. This would be uncharted waters (pun intended) for me, but how hard can it be? The case I bought can handle 3x140mm fans in the front, so I could mount a massive 420mm radiator there, which should be plenty to cool an overclocked cpu and an overclocked gpu.
  13. Back to N'awlins for the final level of chapter 2. For whatever reason, I found this mission significantly easier than the previous one in the swamp. I also didn't use a disguise for the first time in a mission where a disguise was available. I suppose if I'm ever crazy enough to try to do the desperado difficulty, pacifist, no disguise run, that's one less mission I have to replay.
  14. Originally I planned on making a Golden Girls Gang, and I still might, but I'm kinda tempted to make a squad of Beefeaters. Too bad the game isn't set in Russia; I would make a gopnik squad. I'm sure London has a gopnik equivalent. What do Brits call their version of a lower class, deadend job or no job hoodlum?
  15. SS3 had the slow and constricted opening that was sorta like CoD, but Croteam were taking the **** and eventually the game became your standard Sam game where you backpedal and strafe like a madmad while gunning down ludicrous amounts of aliens that are running at you. However, Croteam may have pulled the gag for a bit too long and some people got mad and were like "this is not my Sam" even though after the beginning it was absolutely their Sam. Anyway, after that Croteam announced a puzzle game and people were like "wait, what?" But then the puzzle game turned out to be really good so all was forgiven and we all love Croteam again, and everyone lived happily ever after.
  16. Time for some bayou arson. We don't need no water let the mother****er burn. Burn mother****er burn. This level presented numerous challenges because of my pacifist rules: * Tied up thugs sink in the swampy areas and they die, so I had to make sure to move all bodies to solid ground. * I had to get all tied up thugs off the river queen before torching it. * There are quite a few guard dogs in this level and I refuse to knock out a dog because I'm not a heinous disgusting monster. The desperado difficulty pacifist run remains intact through 11 levels.
  17. I found the gameplay in KoA: Reckoning to be quite solid, minus the disenchant minigame, which is quite possibly the worst minigame in the history of vidya games. Unfortunately, I also found the world, characters, and story dreadfully dull and could never summon the strength to care about anything I was doing in the game. I tried to play it 3 times, about 4 hours is the longest I lasted before I gave up.
  18. ^ Interesting. I kinda don't like the art style. It looks like a westerner started to do a Japanese anime style, but only went 60% of the way. I don't know how else to describe it. The whole black & white except with bright red has been done before, but not to death, so that aspect of it is cool. It's certainly not a bad style, it just doesn't do it for me, for whatever reason. Hopefully the story and gameplay are good
  19. My money is on Betty White in this, presumably, Highlander duel. There can be only one.
  20. N'awlins I guess I'm about 2/3 of the way through the game now.
