  1. I went right past the cake to examining the liquor bottle collection behind it.
  2. I'll give Apple this, they have done a wonderful job branding themselves as a hipster status symbol. They will probably never capture the mainstream the way Android and Windows did, simply because the cost of entry for their products is prohibitive enough that it's generally a barrier to anyone who isn't already a cult member, or at least part of their cult's demographic. Still, they are raking money in hand over fist from their brainwashed cult members. By charging premium prices for average at best hardware they are both maintaining their status symbol image and creating a massive profit margin. It's pretty brilliant, to be honest.
  3. Is he using the 12 GB VRAM SUPERMEGAULTRAHYPERUBERTEXTURES? Because if not, what's the point? Might as well play a 8-bit retro graphics game.
  4. Llama uses spit attack. It's super effective!
  5. The highest definition Rutger Hauer ever!
  6. I bought Yakuza: Like a Dragon. I probably won't get to play it for a while, since the download will take forever via whatever wifi I can get wherever I'm parked. New characters, new city, new combat system, same wacky shenanigans. I'm excited!
  7. ^ Tree Rats are cute little buggers.
  8. I don't care about Apple, I dislike their walled garden approach, but I am curious about how these chips are going to perform versus their x86 counterparts. I have long believed that ARM will eventually displace x86 in laptops, in desktops, and in servers. In servers it's already begun happening, but it's taken much longer for ARM to reach laptops and desktops than I anticipated. With Apple making their own chips and Nvidia buying ARM, it's going to get interesting in a few years.
  9. It's common knowledge that RGBs on a graphics card add at least 10 FPS.
  10. I'm the staunchest of Zeke defenders, but even I will say paying him what Jerry did was a mistake.
  11. Amnesia: Rebirth is pretty intense so far, and, as per usual for Frictional Games, the greater part of the tension is achieved through audio. That's not to say that there aren't disturbing images, but Frictional's expertise lies in audio design. They excel at creating an ambiance that constantly has you on edge. I haven't encountered anything quite as heart pounding as the water level in the OG Amnesia, but it's early going. I wonder if they'll manage to pull off a mind**** as good as in Penumbra: Black Death?
  12. How in the world is this the first time that I've heard of this TV series? I am so ashamed. I am 100% watching this show, it's even got my boy Zhu Bajie doing Zhu Bajie things (mainly lusting after women).
  13. Someone needs to make a Leisure Suit Larry style game where you play as Zhu Bajie.
  14. @WormerineI remember when I first saw that trailer... I still don't believe that footage is real gameplay. Anything with Sun Wukong has my interest, that's for sure.
  15. Unfortunately, we're never gonna catch the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets. As good as we are at losing, they're just that much better.
  16. Nah, it's because I can't be allowed to have a wuxia RPG (I should look into some Korean games, I guess). Why make a second wuxia RPG when you can make the 87675679404th Tolkien-esque high-fantasy RPG? Bio will remaster Anthem before they so much as think about a sequel to JE. You're asking for too much.
  17. I'm never going to get a Jade Empire sequel.
  18. The domino effect of Cyberpunk 2077 getting pushed back to avoid 2020 GotY Yakuza: Like a Dragon continues.
  19. The Amnesia: Rebirth 1.2 patch is out and it seems to have fixed most of the issues. There are still annoyances, namely I have to finagle settings every time to get fullscreen working properly each time I start the game, but the game is playable now. As per usual for a Frictional game, I can only play in short spurts, on account of being chicken ****.
  20. As much as I liked the first 2 Mass Effect games, and I did, I have no interest in playing them again. I seem to have misplaced my nostalgia goggles. I'm more interested to see if Bio can return to form with DA4.
  21. Not the Daily Double I was hoping for.
