White March events in PoE2
IndiraLightfoot replied to juanval's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)You have nothing to lose playing the WM 1 & 2, and even if you picked a character you didn't really like for some reason (wrong class, background, gender, etc), IIRC, you get to keep your choices from your PoE1 save, but when starting PoE2, your character automagically can be transmogrified into what you want to play in PoE2.

The Deadfire Scavenger Codes - WE FOUND THEM ALL - Cutthroat Cosmo! - Bonus Pets!
IndiraLightfoot replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I tried redeeming it over at Adobe - they have 24 character redemption codes (mixed alphapetical and numeric) that give you a product serial number once for Elements, for instance. It accepted the code, but then said it was invalid. Bummer. :/

IndiraLightfoot replied to iscalio's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Here are two perhaps useful old PoE1 threads about and with custom portraits (several links that still may work): https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/66894-how-to-make-custom-portraits/page-1 https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/71722-the-custom-portraits-thread/page-1?hl=+custom +portrait

As a Dishonored fan, I must suggest these as among the better ones: [Youtube] [Youtube] As one comment read: "This is one of the few games where its trailer is actually an accurate depiction of the game itself."- Portraits
IndiraLightfoot replied to iscalio's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)@draego: The portrait/image below is fantastic!- Thanks
No problem. I still remember that I had problems with that on my first playthrough (and slightly spoilerish, there's one other very late situ in the game, where you need to do a certain thing manually in the same way, using Use Power). I absolutely adore NWN 2, I've played the OC and the MotB over 20 times, and I did mod the game extensively, so enjoy one of the best games of all time, IMHO.- What Was The Final Confirmed Stretch Goal?
IndiraLightfoot replied to Gary1986's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)@Casper: I love my cats, so I can't even imagine the shock if something beastly like that would happen to any of them. I'm so sad to hear about this, and I feel the wrath building up in my chest as well. What a heartless ****!- intellect not working as intended for area of effect?
Yeah, this is a nice bug catch, but a pretty nasty nerf if somehow intended. I really hope CDiaz and the others still go through our bug posts here. I can see tonnes of bug reports unconfirmed going back for weeks and counting.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - NOW IN 5$ LOOT BOXES
Awakening, well, I thought it was the nail in the coffin for me, and then I just scoffed at DA2, but when DA:I came out, it certainly looked nice enough for me to give the series a new shot (I had a single player MMO-ish itch to scratch after the Amalur debacle), and I played it a lot, o n e s i n g l e p l a y t h r o u g h and it never ended. I, of all people gave up because of severe fatigue. Yep, it was very lush and beautiful and huge, but the mechanics were very repetitive, and the story, well, slightly better than DA:O (but that's just my opinion). I didn't buy any expansions, I guess I have to pick up my saved game there, when and if I feel like installing EA's Origin or whatever it's called.- Fitting music and lyrics in anticipation of Deadfire
IndiraLightfoot replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)@Boeroer: Same here. Led Zeppelin just refuses to get played, as it were. Here's a more sombre violin piece (a Swedish group), for when the sea gets less choppy... [Youtube]- Fitting music and lyrics in anticipation of Deadfire
IndiraLightfoot replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Beastie Boys are super-cool! That song is great, and Sureshot too. For some reason, though, Gromnir, it said that your Led Zeppelin clip was unavailable.- Fitting music and lyrics in anticipation of Deadfire
IndiraLightfoot replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I love these, and you sure know your authentic stuff. Shanties would perhaps make Deadfire too gleeful, but one or two would fit right in! Hilarious! It wasn't dancing, rather double fistpumping deckwards! And speaking of fun pirat-y stuff: [Youtube] And some chill ocean notes: [Youtube]- Fitting music and lyrics in anticipation of Deadfire
IndiraLightfoot replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)When I was young, I always loved listening to this intro when the Onedin Line was on the telly, I reckon it's pretty fitting for Deadfire:- Fitting music and lyrics in anticipation of Deadfire
IndiraLightfoot replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Your suggestions are so much better and fitting than mine that it's not even funny, but lyrics-wise, at least I have nailed it a bit.- Fitting music and lyrics in anticipation of Deadfire

IndiraLightfoot replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Yeah, that's a classic, and it would fit Deadfire like a glove! Great choice!!- Fitting music and lyrics in anticipation of Deadfire
IndiraLightfoot replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)@White Phoenix: I haven't played Dark Souls, so I'm very pleasantly surprised. Wake me is my favourite out of those two!- Fitting music and lyrics in anticipation of Deadfire
What the thread title says! Here's my suggestion for fitting music while we wait for Deadfire. Here's the tune (Depeche Mode, All That's Mine): And here are the lyrics (The "you" in it is Eothas, and the "I" is your main character): I know it's hard to reach you I know it's hard to breathe I know it's hard to be you sometimes I can't imagine what that means This must be someone else's story I can't follow what you've planned How could this be about me Am I supposed to understand? Like a ship on the ocean Heading out to sea You can hardly see it now It's a lot like you Lost like me You're still looking for redemption Still can't find a trace If there is nothing after There'll be the saving grace I'm giving you control now I need some kind of sign Can't take… I'm giving you control now I need some kind of sign Can't take away the sorrow now I gave you all that's mine Like a ship on the ocean Heading out to sea You can hardly see it now It's a lot like you Like a ship on the ocean Heading out to sea You can hardly see it now It's a lot like you Lost like me And yet another DM piece fits the bill well, Set Me Free (Remotivate Me): Here are the lyrics (The "me" here is obviously Eothas, locked up in a statue): Set me free Set me free Remotivate me Set me burning After years in deep freeze My body is yearning For a new lease of life And a little spice Set me free Remotivate me Give me a reason To scream and shout Give me something To get excited about When everything is looking dull I'm sure it isn't impossible to Set me free Remotivate me Remotivate me Set me burning After years in deep freeze My body is yearning For a new lease of life And a little spice Set me free Remotivate me… Remotivate me Set me burning After years in deep freeze My body is yearning For a new lease of life And a little spice Set me free Remotivate me Don't think I'm impatient Because I'm willing to wait But something must must happen Before it gets too late It could be my imagination But wasn't there more than this dull sensation Set me free Remotivate me- Josh Sawyer's tweets and teasers

You have to read the scroll, as a player. Zhjaeve won't read it automatically. He won't die until you have controlled Zhjaeve manually (no AI) and had her read the scroll, IIRC. She has the scroll in her inventory, you van manually select it, and then Use Power, and voilà! Ammon Jerro can also manually read it if it's in his invo.- Launch Date For Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Announced, Pre-Orders Now Live!
