It reminded some people hereabouts of the 2013 Superbowl in which the team with a dominant defense and a moderately capable offense crushed a high-powered offensive team with an average defense. We always respected Coach Arians when he coached Arizona; those games were tough. Not to mention the injuries...
  2. Not surprisingly, the Congress critters who have contracted COVID-19 are predominantly Republican. I suppose you can say they're taking one for the team, but the logic is daft.
  3. Sadly, the Superbowl ads kinda sucked this year.
  4. New Israeli drug cured 29 of 30 moderate/serious COVID cases in days — hospital\ Pretty exciting news if it holds up.
  5. Republicans are just all around better gamers.
  6. Numnumnum...
  7. Check out the Earthrise at the 9:20 mark. It needs a Pink Floyd soundtrack.
  8. Alien anal probes? Full frontal lobotomy? COVID-19 nasal tests by a sadist nurse? Yeah I probably would.
  9. The main issue there was concerns over the lack of rigorous testing prior to certification. That's a pretty reasonable scientific criticism.

In the MLS, a new CBA was negotiated last year but was never ratified. Discussions continue, with the possibility of a player lockout. MLS Players' Association won't strike, but dispute commissioner's CBA claims Supposedly the league lost $725 million last year due to the pandemic, and is looking at similar losses this year.
  12. Don't they proceed to get stomped by the Oliphant oligarchy? Ah well. 😉
  13. Well, if this news story is to be believed, the guy who exposed the 570 doses of the Moderna vaccine in Wisconsin is a tad... eccentric: Wisconsin Vaccine Saboteur Steven Brandenburg Is a Flat-Earther, FBI Document Reveals How on Earth did this guy ever become a "pharmacy technician"? Is there a mail-order diploma or something?
  14. Unfortunately it's not even funny.

It does look that way. I mean they're both decent starting QBs, so did they really need to give up all those draft picks? Then again, as a Seahawks fan, my response is more like aha-ha-ha-hah! 😁
  16. It doesn't require actual fusion; just the magnetic fields already used for containment. I'm not sure how practical it is mass-wise though.
  17. ^ pass along to conspiracy theorists everywhere. Mwahahahaha...
  18. Has this woman just invented the rocket that will take us to Mars? Sounds cool. When can we get one?
