  10. Ye i think it seems like it could be fun but the extreme version of this was DOS for me where you can jack everything which was dumb. I felt like it ruined the economy and forced you into stealing even if you didnt want to roleplay a character like that so you could buy stuff. It seemed like the devs had to make everything really expensive in DOS to account for players that wanted to steal everything. Then if a player didnt want to steal stuff you were stuck not being able to make money to buy things. So as long as its doesnt seem necessary it could be fun. I never stole anything in D:OS. You're not being "forced" into it. Maybe you're just a kleptomaniac at heart?

  12. An African wild dog would make a very handsome companion. They're distantly related to domesticated dogs, but are wild pack hunters like wolves and very fast on their feet.
  13. Consider that this time ships are the core travel mechanic, whereas the Stronghold content was optional. Hence I'd expect more development of the ship-based content.
  14. Watcher groupies: they want to board your ship and climb your mast with rope and tackle.
  15. Could happen only if its a plot point, systemically...nope. Ship is essential for navigation, even getting it seriously damaged/hindering its speed too much may not be an option. Also I expect the crew will be too hard to get killed in dangerous situations since they won't be generic NPCs. I'm hoping for occasional sea creature sightings around the ship while cruising; whales, dolphins, sharks etc. Wonder how big is the visible ocean around the ship... Aye, but the possibility of getting shipwrecked makes adventuring at sea much more dramatic. Otherwise you're just tourists. Besides, it's an opportunity to strip the party of their gear and have them start over.
  16. I'm hoping there's a possibility that your ship could sink under you, leaving you adrift on flotsam with only a few surviving crew members. From there, things get worse...

  19. I've been satisfied with most of the KS games I've contributed to, but then I was fairly conservative in my choices and the amount of my contributions. For Owlcat I thought about contributing but then decided not to, more because of general political reasons (Russian election meddling) than for the game itself. I'll probably still buy it down the road.
