Randomized dungeons / environments / smart monsters ...
Randomization is not as good as it might sound, at least for non roguelikes. It reduces player choices and actual consequences, and even re-playability. Prime example of story randomization is the radiant quest system in Skyrim. Every radiant quest is the same, and even important sounding tasks fall short when there is randomization partly because choices are removed to make up for the lack of consistency. All I'm going to say about random loot and monsters: level scaling. The only good random.... thing, is semi-random encounters, when traversing the map/wilds. But generally, everything is made much more beautiful, immersive, replayable and enjoyable when hand crafted. I understand if there is absolute need for some randomization, but most examples of it in "RPGs", reeks of laziness.

Your vision of the 2.7 Million stretch goal
How about adding to the main questline? Maybe make it longer(that's what she said), or add more branching paths. This, I would like! Necro-Blackguards? They raise marshmallows! And chainmail bikinis

Dragon Age-style Tactics and other non-pause combat interfaces?
The vanilla tactics system of DAO were, to say the least, very limited. The Advanced Tactics(in addition to Combat Tweaks) mod was essential, and quite awesome I might add! I would prefer something like KotoR 2's system, but a bit more expanded.

What do you Want to Know Before the Kickstarter Ends?
This! I would also like a chance to add to my donation later perhaps.

NPC Character Development
Since it's a party based game, full control is a necessity IMHO. Even for those affected by story/quests.

RockPaperShotgun Interview with Avellone + New Companion Concept Aloth
Who said anything about skimpy? And why are decorations useless? They show culture. And large scale conventional battles with swords and spears are not the only instances of combat. Take Annah for example; while her clothing is certainly extreme, she is a thief, she doesn't care about having super protective and clunky plate mail.

Yes there is. Usually armor is not worn to be attractive to the opposite sex. Not everyone has to wear armour to be practical, nor does every armour has to be a big bulky piece of metal. Take Cadegund's armour as a good medium example.

What do you Want to Know Before the Kickstarter Ends?
The premise(not the plot), full details on classes and the levelling system are the most important. More art and perhaps screenshots, would be nice as well!

RockPaperShotgun Interview with Avellone + New Companion Concept Aloth
IQ has to do with grey matter and other things in the brain. The tests have nothing to do with knowledge, other than very basic math and language skills to understand the question, you just choose from multiple choice answers. And this is of topic btw

RockPaperShotgun Interview with Avellone + New Companion Concept Aloth
Effective intelligence is what I'm talking about using. Knowledge, reading, whatever, should give bonuses to intelligence checks. Not direct increase of a pc's or companions intelligence(which I take as the IQ) stat.

RockPaperShotgun Interview with Avellone + New Companion Concept Aloth
Other stats being available for increase(not DA inflation like) on level ups is logical. You can train to become stronger, or gain wisdom. You can "better" your charisma personality as well, but I just don't see how someone's intelligence goes up through natural means. It's appliance through knowledge and experience though could increase one's sharpness. Perhaps also have a few/one instance to increase it permanently(not by too much) through magic or magic implants? You're pretty much saying the same thing.

RockPaperShotgun Interview with Avellone + New Companion Concept Aloth
Am I the only one thinking that Intelligence should only be possible to increase or decrease in the character creation screen? After that it should be Knowledge/Lore/Cunning/Math or whatever that adds extra bonuses to INT checks.

What do you wish not to see in PE
- Assumptions about the PC's character from NPCs/the game itself. KotOR 2 I'm looking at you! - Forced guilt. Same as above. - Giving us a dual choice between saint and total jerk, only to be schooled by our character's mentor or whatever because we didn't take the middle ground. I thought I should post these, since they were really annoying in Obsidian games KotOR 2.

RockPaperShotgun Interview with Avellone + New Companion Concept Aloth
I was thinking it was a spell scroll in his other hand. I don't even know if this is worth pointing out, but I wasn't exactly being serious. I don't actually think he's holding a fish. Why not? Fish might restore mana(or soul points or whatever)!

RockPaperShotgun Interview with Avellone + New Companion Concept Aloth
Not as a villain, or evil alignment. Just stereotype. Snake magic, almost always is not something "good" people in fantasy stories will use. There are exceptions, just not that many.

RockPaperShotgun Interview with Avellone + New Companion Concept Aloth
A guy with magic snakes? And a evil purple, warlockish magic effect? **** Yeah! That's my kind of person! Let's just hope he doesn't turn into some kind of betrayer, because you know.... snakes.

If you had to choose, which is more important: plotline or world?
kenup replied to Death Machine Miyagi's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)A good plot will usually yield a good world. The same isn't universally true about the opposite, IMO.

Drows in this game ?
If they do add dark elves, please don't make them the cursed evil elven race or something. I know at least 4 or 5 different settings in which that is the case and frankly it's getting annoying.
-

- Forced Companions. Unless they are really important and essential to the plot, and I must repeat: very important to the plot, they shouldn't be forced on us. And even if they are required for something smaller, after that we should be able to get them the **** out of our total party members list.

Project Eternity Composer: In-house or External
Yes, in that "generic" sort of epic way that you now have to endure every single movie trailer. You know, the generic blaring trumpets and that "heroic" violin. Loathsome. To be honest they do have one good piece. And that is in the Vale in Dawnguard. I on the other hand, found both KotoR games' music to be boring. They seemed like downgraded copies from the NWN series. That's IMHO anyway.
