  1. Specifically, spawning plate mail knight templar ninjas!
  2. We got 7 companions already. I'm sure one will fit the bill, at least in part.
  3. Since bos_hybrid brought it up: No only one separation between choices. The pc should have the ability to be anything from a hero to an anti-hero, to an anti-villain all the way down to the most villainous bastard possible in the story setting. And yes that includes all the stupid equivalents of the DnD alignments. The last thing I want is to choose between being a hero poster boy or a jerk/bully posterboy.
  4. Shouldn't you throw him in first, so the flames can have a ripe place to start?
  5. They don't have a printing system, as specifically mentioned in this update. And even if they had a basic one, news would travel at least a 100 times slower, than nowadays. Teleportation doesn't solve anything either. I doubt those peasants living in the sticks, I mentioned, even heard about it, not to mention using it... I didn't say peasants had access. Lords and kings may have though.
  6. I don't get the first one. And what is wrong with END GAME bosses being difficult? They have firearms, they might have a basic printing system. Plus possibly teleportation. Still I do agree that not everyone should know everything.
  7. Oh, and lest I forget. No Shepard Jennifer Hale!
  8. Uh... save-scumming has nothing to do with feeling like you did something evil. From the same site, under the entry for The Witcher: ....which is exactly what I was talking about. What I meant was "the effects of your decisions are not immediate 'oh crap I made the wrong choice must reload'" NOT related to the morality of your choices, that's a separate issue, hence why I used a dash. Oh... ok. Sorry about that. I just gave an example with the "evil" thing. You said save scumming and that consequences made you feel like scum. Stupid of me, I guess.

  10. You might be close to godhood(or at least your party's collective power is), if you have to fight a god. But more to the point since you brought it up. In Normal Difficulty the same rules should apply, for both PC/companions and enemies. No "DnD Hardcore mode" for that to apply is needed. EDIT: Here's am interesting article about female armour: http://madartlab.com/2011/12/14/fantasy-armor-and-lady-bits/
  11. J.E. Sawyer also had an NV neon light thingy. I would like to buy one of those and the cups.
  12. Happy birthday Chris! Awesome video! My home desk looks kinda like this. Except less figurines and more paper crap.
  13. - handfisted drama. - striperific armours, unless they are worn by some kind of cave men/prostitutes/succubus/you get the point. - forcing the player character to do something against his personality(Skyrim I'm looking at you), at least not without repercussions. Definitely not something out of character. - blidingly small text. - too much handholding, if at all. - voice acting beyond something like introductions, cryers or Big Bad speeches of Doom. - messages without statements - A lot of things that have already been said. Note how most of them come [mostly] from more recent games.
  14. Knowing EULAs I somehow doubt it's legal Nobody cares about legality. Legality is moot. It changes from time and - especially - place. It's why most piracy discussions bog down to nonsense. Let's discuss whether it's moral, instead. I doubt he'd get it sold, though. It's still D3 we're talking about here. :D Also knowing EULAs I doubt that they are legal either. Yeah... morals are illegal in our society.
  15. Welcome to The Order, Caerdon. I'm concerned by your title. It makes me question, if you are gonna be the betrayer/savior of the order later in the storyline
  16. Personally, I don't like heavy armour, unless the wizard is supposed to be the cannon of the team/army. Something like this would be better for me: http://nogamenotalk.com/files/2011/10/The-Witcher-2-Cursed-Armor-Comparison1-620x348.jpg
  17. I thought D3 was dead. Funny thing I just had a scam email about me selling my D3 game.
  18. Don't forget personal hygiene, Charisma goes down the more you forget to brush your teeth/clean your nails... I think there's a limit to the realism of the game. I play games to escape the mundanity (probably not a word) of my life, and giving me a second platform in which to worry about where I'm getting lunch wouldn't be very much fun for me. We should also use toothpicks(too much and you ruin your mouth hygiene) after every meal. Also make sure you always have a pair of toilet paper rolls with you, cause you know... you never know when nature calls. As I said before, realism in RPGs is not for everyone. There aren't too many gamers, that would enjoy the level of realism I like in my games. Considering the games this is trying to pay homage to, I don't think we should expect that type of realism in this game. I have said a few times I want this to be a fantasy game, not an adventure simulator. I would actually very much enjoy an adventure simulator. I just don't want this to be it. Sense of humor, begone...... His original post has great suggestions, but what we suggested(except for the fewer encounters/enemies per encounters) was just joking around. Imagine The Witcher games having the above suggestions

  20. Merchandise might be a bit too much. Unless part of the money went to OE perhaps? Though I don't see them raising enough to make a difference. As for the in-game references; I would prefer something humourus or a really obscure faction, from what I see as plausible. Thouth to tell the truth, I would like for the Order to be kind of like the chessmasters behind some/all key events . Possibly through many games
  21. WoW! hahahahahahahahahaha! I actually loled!
  22. Having to fight a few strong enemies, instead of entire armies, at least when it comes to sentient beings. And more kills have an actual effect on your character's psyche. But that is not for PE.
