  1. This kind of disinformation annoys the hell out of me, I've never experienced any of this and I've been gaming since amazing Titan Quest ragdoll physics, this feature was so fantastic, it made the world so much more immersive, that I thought this would become a new standard in all games but here we are, people lying because of sheer lazyness. How the hell is this not great?? I'm really getting sick of this stagnation and active sabotage of progress. Ah, now we've hit the real issue here. Those darn lazy devs. Your lack of mental acuity is of no one's concern. Hey guys look, another user for me to test out this strange 'Ignore feature'.
  2. *sigh* 1) Neither you nor I have the ability to see what they "should have" used the money for. 2) How do you think games get made if not via money? What do you think the Kickstarter was for?
  3. QfG really did have an awesome character creation system.
  4. Please do so, Bryy. Because so far you've managed to come up with a laughably minute list by normal RPG standards. 30 different enemies. A number so pitifully small that it is an insult to compare it with what BG2 had, which is easily 5 times that many, and likely more than even that. And No, this is NOT about "liking one game over another". (I liked Both games. A lot) But a game's Bestiary is not a subjective, opinionated thing. We are dealing with numbers that can be counted. Give credit where it's due. Baldurs Gate 2 did a few things objectively well. Its bestiary is one of them. ... why are you acting like I did some horrible thing? He made a statement, I corrected him.
  5. Sylvan Grand Oak Abomination Hunger Demon Desire Demon Mabari Rats Raiders Ancient Darkspawn High Dragon Flemeth Archdemon Genlock Genlock Alpha Genlock Sorcerer Hurlock Hurlock Alpha Ogre Broodmother Queen Spider Thaig Spiders Werewolves Blighted Werewolfs Lady of the Forest Elves Dwarves Golems Sand Stalkers Skeletons Deepstalkers I could go on, but do please continue being petty because you like one game over another.
  6. It's almost horrifying how gamers today want an industry crash.
  7. The series has zero consistency, be it characters, lore or gameplay. I can't take any of it seriously when BioWare will just negate or demean this aspect or that in the next iteration. i feel DA2, ME2 and ME3 speak volumes on how little they care about consistency. As much as I love BioWare, this.
  8. You just sound like you don't really like anything, honestly. At least things that are owned by other things.
  9. Ayup. I have about near zero hopes Disney is going to give us something worthy of the original Trilogy, or even better than the poop we've been treated to the last 15 or so years. I may tune in if the original cast members have a part, but I also may not... I'll wait and see what the previews look like and for other news. Kasden and the possibility of the original cast members being a part of this is about the only good news I've seen. Everything else about Disney and the Star Wars franchise looks to be poop imo. I'm of the camp (and it's no small camp) that Lucas all sorts of effed up his own creation, then put a poop cherry on top of that effed up cake when he sold it all to Disney. Disney owning the rights to all things Lucasfilm is near as bad as them owning the rights to almost everything Jim Henson. Who knows though, Disney may surprise me, but it's hard to be optimistic with Abrams attached to it. So, in other words, your indignation sparks out of material worth instead of actual facts?
  10. This is a BioWare thread. It's inevitable.
  11. There was a dude dressed as a SHIELD Agent. I whispered "Hail HYDRA". Then, very obviously, I started nudging him, going "eh? EH???".
  12. Thing is, it's not helping, and I recognize that, but now I can move on to doing stuff I want to do to be productive. Regardless of this crushing weight-pain on my chest.
  13. Exactly. Cut content is not always good stuff. And even if it IS good stuff, it was cut for a REASON. Look at how they are handling the Extra Stretch Goals situation - it is going into the expansion. These things cost MONEY to make, and in this case, ONLY $4.5 million.
  14. That's because it was cut. Every game ever made has cut content.
  15. Been on XCom ever since WonderCon because I had my heart put through the shredder. Won't go into details, I thought it was something I could handle, but it really, really wasn't. So now I've been going through XCom for days straight with my cadets Starbuck and Rainbowdash.
  16. Because it is that time of night. The rest is at the link. It gets.... super intense. From http://thoughtcatalog.com/leo-steven/2014/04/dear-girls-who-are-finally-ready-to-date-nice-guys-we-dont-want-you-anymore/ It's apparently real, just like that guy that is engaged to Twilight Sparkle and thus wants people to stop drawing MLP porn.
  17. Obsidian doesn't own the game, UbiSoft does.
  18. Agreed. Any system where you don't need to manage the battle and can just focus all four of your party on one dude is ridiculous. Although, there were a few random battles in Denerim where you had to split your party to take out the archers.
  19. Dude, it comes with a Unicorn.
  20. Wait, where was Morrigan?
  21. And another group of people who are going to be expressing confusion when hit with a C&D.
  22. Sorry but Dungeon Siege 3 alongside Kingdoms of Amalur really do have the best combat systems ever created. This is pretty obvious if you had bothered with either of them. But as I said I don't expect such level of action based skill combat here, just as long as it is better than Dragon Age Origins. KoA was nothing special. Just mixed fighting game mechanics with RPG combat.
  23. Dear lordy. ... making a product you dislike says nothing about the individuals that made it.
