I don't think that is ever been biggest moving object made by man (ships dominate that category quite single handedly), but biggest shovel and maybe biggest land vehicle maybe tittles that it has owned. Images are cool regardless.

They might not have those values set where they want them yet. I mean... ONE Athletics to charge a guy holding a hostage at blade-point before he can react?! Really? Apparently the Athletics scale is binary: 0 is you have to stop and pant for a few minutes after every step you take. 1 is Bionic Man. I think that 1 athletics is about max that characters in demo build can have in that point of game, as there is no skill point dealing at character creation, meaning that characters have only their class bonuses for skill checks.

Group Weapon Swap.
Elerond replied to Karranthain's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
In my understanding talent system isn't yet fully ready and I would guess that they don't limit number of weapon sets in demo build because it make easier test and show things in it's limited scope. -

Are females forced on you?
Elerond replied to Malignacious's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
When they are all female, how does it make sense to call them female in the first place? Sounds more like a biological definition in this case. In particular, if you can't be a male, then reproduction without males is not scary in the first place. The angst is all about being left out of the fun They are hybridization species between striped whiptail and western whiptail, which both have males, but hybridization of these species cause for some reason that no healthy males are born and as all whiptail lizards can use parthenogenesis to reproduce it has made possible that female members of this species can still reproduce by themselves, which has lead existence of all-female population, even though there is technically possibility for males. -

I actually do think that reproduction without men is way scarier than the usual zombie acpocalypse everyone is always so scared about.. New Mexico whiptail (also known as with nick name lesbian lizards), all female lizard species that reproduces trough parthenogenesis -

It is nice that you think that sexual dimorphism in high fantasy setting is same for all races as it is for human population in our world, especially when it don't stop women to be explorers, fighters, etc. even in our world let alone in world where there is magic that changes all power dynamics between sexes wholly. -

When speaking about twitch/'youtube gaming' personalities it should be remembered that they are first and fore most entertainers, who found some gimmick (like high level gameplay, gameplay commentary, reacting happenings in game with entertaining way, or some other act that entertains people) that gets people watch them day after day, giving them ability to do it as their job. Finding your audience in entertainment business isn't always most easiest thing to do, so when you find gimmick that works you usually keep doing it until it don't work anymore. So I wouldn't go judge people that get all/most of their lively hood by playing/commenting/criticizing games aren't gamers enough to call themselves gamers, even if you don't like gimmick that they use to entertain their audience. -
It can be if you don't do anything that make you breath heavily, as then cold air can easily burn your lungs, which is very unpleasant thing to experience. And winds in those temperatures are quite chilling.
-
On hot summers - yes. Summer last year we had 41 degrees followed by weeks of humid 38 degrees and no wind. What I did today: more classic strongman exercises. 42Kg dumbbell power cleans and pressing with shoulder only and no leaning. Fun exercise. I though that last summer was hottest summer in recorded history of Austria, so I would not take it best example of normal temperatures.

It is normal in Austria to have temperature to go over 30 degree of Celsius at night?

I would say that Jade Empire is second worst RPG that Bioware has done, but as I think that all their RPGs are at least good, that isn't very heavy critique. For it romances I would say that they are ok, but I wouldn't rank them best BioWarian romances, but they are still worth to experience. Jade Empire's biggest short comings are in its RPG mechanics that are shallow at best even for action rpg, in such degree that ME2's and ME3's mechanics feel deep when you compare them to Jade Empire's mechanics. But Jade Empire's short comings are quite well compensated by its story (even though its quite predictable with its twists) and Chinese mythology inspired setting. -

Afaik, there are only three weapon damage types (I could be wrong). The other effects you mention are enchants that can be added to any weapon so they would not require their own slot. I hadn't considered ranged, dual wielding, etc... though so that's a good point. Weapon types have also other bonuses than damage type, like for example axes have greater changes to do critical hits, daggers are faster, maces go better through armor, spears have longer reach, etc.. -

So you're taking the parties and clubs with skimpy dressed females as the standard of how women dress in all settings of real life and how they should be portrayed in all settings of video games? You ignore every other possible occasion where you meet females who aren't dressed with skimpy clothes but are still very attractive? Okay. In Summer in Germany even at my university i see more revealing outfits. Were do you life? Dubai? Iran? Also we met her at a TAVERN. A bar a club in todays language. We do not meet her on the fields or at some marketplace selling groceries... Also I love how you try to judge people by what they are wearing. Who here is the sexist?... If its her personality who are you to tell that this is wrong? This is how the character was written. If it were a shy and socially awkward character and then wears something like that. Than yeah you can totally argue that it is wrong. But with a personality liker her? Not really. As for the Name. I always think of her as a Spanish name and then it should be Isabella since I never saw the name Isabela in spanish XD Isabela is Spanish name, that etymological meaning is "God is my oath", it is variant of Hebrew name Isabel, English variant of name is Elizabeth, in Spanish there are four other variant forms for it: Isabella, Isobella, Izabella, Ysabella. (source Think Baby Names). Although Isabella seems to be most popular variant of the name. -
Were do you get the idea that teenagers don't spend money on lol? In fact they are the ones who will most likely buy the skins. I based that on fact that 51% of LoL players are 19-25 years old (according stats published by Riot), which I would guessed to be also demographic that spend most money in game. And that claim that people that have spent more money in game usually behave better than those that have less money tied in to game (Which seems to be supported by that fact that Riot, Blizzard, Microsoft and Sony all have started to increase their punishments for behavior that they deem to be bad and to give other players options to avoid players that they feel that behave badly).
-
I would think that Riot is probably more willing to permanently ban teenagers, who don't have money to pay for Riot and with their behavior cause risk that Riot's paying customers to lose interest in the game. Especially now when they have tens of millions of players, meaning that even liberal ban hammer don't make visible dent in their player numbers

Obsidian tried romance in Alpha Protocol. It was unimpressive. When I said Bioware was better, I was referring to their better examples when they weren't pandering to a degenerate crowd of booty chasers. The reason not to tie the romance into the story is then you have Obsidian writing romance, and not improving the core experience. Let the Modders handle romance. Think of Obsidian as ammonia and romance as bleach. Romances in Alpha Protocol had different goal than what romances in Bioware's games have, as they where meant to be sleazy romances from Bonds and other secret agent movies, in which they succeeded quite well, but of course that also means that they were quite shallow and meaningless for the plot and more titillation for player (which some will argue that is also big part of Bioware's romances). Modders ability to produce good romance is much lower than game developer's as their ability to create needed plot interaction is much more restricted and it's rare occurrence that technically savvy modder team has good writer among them, although that has happened in past but usually only with popular games and even then you get one good mod per thousand poor mods. So I would not rise my hopes that there will ever be good romance mod for PoE. I think poe will be popular, so I think it'll get the romances. As for the quality; there is usually a dump of bad romance mods, but I know how to find the needles in the haystacks. If the pro-mancer doesn't care enough to figure out how to tell the quality mods from the junk mods; they probably didn't care much about romances anyway. Also, some people like silly, degenerate, and badly written trash! Don't believe me? ME2/ME3 romances has plenty of fans, so not everyone has high standards. Liking badly written trash don't make that trash any better written. Going through dozens of poor quality mods to find one decent one, if there is even one, is very time consuming and some people don't have time to do that, but instead of that they buy game where vanilla version already offers decent quality romances, to fulfill their romance needs. -

That is reality with many projects in armament industry. For example Finnish Navy used tens of millions of dollars to develop assault hovercraft and when it was ready they realized that it didn't had any real function, even though it exceeded all requirements that Navy put for it, as they realized that Missile Boats worked better in tasks where they intended use them and in end Finnish Navy didn't found any use for them and disassembled only working unit that was produced when they didn't find any buyers for it.
-
What I understand it is not meant to be such assault vehicle that will take hostile beach, but instead a heavy carrier that brings tanks and other heavy land vehicles to beach after it's already secured or at least mostly secured.

Developing game with $567k, from which ~20% was never actually paid, by company with little experience and developing game with over $48M by experienced developer are bit different beast that have much different risk factors. For example it is quite unlikely that Star Citizen will run out money without delivering some sort of game, although Star Citizen has to be quite high quality game if Roberts don't want lots angry supporters.
