Sensuki's Suggestions #001: Disable Vertical Sync
Yeah I know that (hardware cursors ftw), however like I said, as a past competitive FPS gamer, I can feel my mouse float even when it's only slight I've even tweaked my BIOS for mouse responsiveness and reduced DPI latency That said, Pillars of Eternity does feel *a lot less* laggy than most other games with Vsync turned on, so the implementation of it is well done.

Suggestion: public bug tracker
Yeah I've already PM'd BAdler about posting a public list of bugs. A public list of in the works features would be nice too, because then instead of reporting / suggesting things superfluously we can focus on the stuff they haven't found / haven't mentioned.

Lack of voice overs for charactors
I have asked some questions on VO in the past. If you search for J.E. Sawyer under Members and look for voice / VO he has spoken about how much and the type of VO that should be in the game. I remember the amount of VO will be "similar to BG2" although this may have changed since then. And the focus will be Character voice sets, Companion and Key NPC Dialogue and Narration, with not too much one-off VO for non-critical named NPCs. One of the things that we have also become aware of throughout the Kickstarter is that VO is done right at the end, after the writing is complete. Currently the writing is not complete.

Sensuki's Suggestions #008: A Feedback in Combat Comparison: PE vs IE
I think one thing the developers could do to improve the amount of superfluous bug reporting and feedback is provide a full list of bugs, and a list of features that are in the works. That way instead of focusing our efforts on stuff which is a bit "well duh", We could focus on things that have not been mentioned yet. So for my next video, I'm going to do something that maybe has not been considered yet - for the inventory screen.

Suggestion: toggle stealth circles on/off
I think the Stealth button should only stealth the characters you have selected, YMMV.

Combat readability analysis - graphics
The IE games generally had less bright and sunlight effected outdoor backgrounds. There are currently some issues with character occlusion (I can't see the highlighting solution working anywhere) and sorting, I believe. They're also using an ambient system that blends characters into the background:

[Modding] Backer Beta Modding/Data Mining
There are currently a couple of tools that can extract files from Unity's file system, however when I tried to run Unity Explorer I get exception errors unpacking the PE files. Managed to get the main theme music though. Hopefully just as the BGs spawned modding tools, PE will spawn further development of these tools. I haven't tried the other program (Disunity), which I think is a command line tool, and works on .unity3d files The problem is, you can extract the files, but I don't know if you can send them back into the file system. There's a lot of Microsoft Access Shortcuts in the file system for some reason, unless that's just my PC not reading them properly. Main theme btw: http://www.upload.ee/files/4220997/mus_theme.ogg.html

"No Bad Builds" a failure in practice?
It's okay for the Fighter who can engage multiple enemies at once. The Barbarian cannot. To benefit from your proposal, the Barbarian would have to take the talent that grants an additional engagement target. I think a larger engagement range is a bit silly by default because it only delays your disengagement attack.

Feedback about the new inventory: the "stash" system
Infinitron convinced Josh on Formspring like 18 months ago. The bastard - laughing at us right now too btw.

"No Bad Builds" a failure in practice?
I am really not sure, but I'm going to go with probably not. My point was more on the programming side if you made something that added range, it wouldn't work properly.

Icewind Dale portraits for Pillars of Eternity
I like Kaz's portraits and some of the godlike portraits, but yeah will probably just end up using IWD ones or my Monica Bellucci one that I made .

"No Bad Builds" a failure in practice?
Engagement is an AoE though, not a range.

These forums are super-slick. Your web dev is a genius.
I really don't like the posting box though. Mode of the time I switch to code mode because I'm used to vBulletin. The stock mode here is like super noob which is annoying.

You can issue a command while your character is in recovery time though, you don't have to wait for it.

Upload it to where? just use upload.ee or something

"No Bad Builds" a failure in practice?
Not that great for some classes though - like Fighters and Barbarians.

[Grammar] Dyrford Ruins
Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity - Public Beta\PillarsOfEternity_Data\data\localized\en\text\game I'm not sure if these have scripted interaction texts or not, but the entry is probably in one of the stringtables there, open them in wordpad and do a search for the text you have in the OP.

"No Bad Builds" a failure in practice?
I have repeated multiple times that I am talking about attribute bonuses from race and culture only. You keep ignoring that for some reason.

"No Bad Builds" a failure in practice?
The issues you describe wouldn't apply here because the attributes are ideally supposed to be useful for every class in PE. In D&D this is not the case.

"No Bad Builds" a failure in practice?
I am talking about attribute bonuses only. I am aware that all races have a special ability. It already does that. I am talking about System Design.
