  1. Nope it's worse on mine too. Getting about 20 FPS worse in the Dyrford Village alone.
  2. Ambient Leaves are bugged BB Dwarf Movement (fixed by save/load) is bugged, but also other NPC characters, and monsters float through the ground as well - various NPCs in town, Wood Beetles. NPCs stuck/floating through ground is not fixed by save load. Dyrford Mill Wheel is frozen still
  3. Units are floating through the ground though - characters, NPCs and Monsters
  4. New sound for opening the area map Targeting Reticles aren't being used for movement indicators =/ WAT Regular attack sounds when attacking beetles
  5. It's not level 1 talents - you choose your Level 1 starting ability Selection circles are thinner, and look much, much better - more like the IE games Starting Formation is now much close by default - good The area/character sharpness filter looks like it's been reverted to the v278 version, or something close to it. Would have to take screenshots to compare.
  6. + Icewind Dale style loading screens (although not quite as good) rendered from in game 3D level
  7. Oh no, not like that. I am just saying that due to the nature of digital releases, they can afford to improve them by release, whereas previously they could not. If anything, it's better.
  8. Both other times we've had a message from the devs "patch will be out tomorrow" or something. We didn't get one of those messages yesterday. I also think the last time they said "We're hoping to release this week", the patch came out about a week later So we'll see what happens.
  9. Dunno about that, likely would have heard about it before now.
  10. It has nothing to do with abilities or character advancement, it's the core gameplay that is a failure.
  11. I remember that from the 90s, it was about bees and had Christian Tessier and Kristian Schmid
  12. What do you mean they won't have to? All developers these days do it. For comparison: Divinity Original Sin and Wasteland 2 both had large day 1 patches ... although not many WL2 backers have their physical copies yet due to Deep Silver severely stuffing up the physical release. There will be a Day 1 patch, just as there will be many patches after that.
  13. No not necessarily, the developers can update the digital release in the time between when they send their gold master to the publishers/manufacturers for printing and the release date.
  14. These days the physical master pretty much always needs a Day 1 patch because developers can still work on the game for the weeks that it takes their 'gold master' to get produced into physical media.
  15. Anyone reckon it's gonna land tomorrow? Seems more like a next week thing to me
  16. Pretty much, he seems to talk about things from their theoretical perspective an awful lot, rather than their actual application in the gameplay. And that is because the developers cited that Melee Engagement was added to solve a "problem", refer yourself to Kickstarter Update 44: Melee Engagement. It was not added just to "try a new mechanic". If the backers did not complain about Aggro mechanics in MMOs, then I think we would have one of those systems instead. I'm glad we don't though.
  17. I don't know how you don't understand, it's pretty simple really. He's saying that it's neither a good 3PS, nor a good RPG.
