  1. We should beat Eric after school.
  2. How long did it take to beat the main story? Was it short?!
  3. I do understand that the sudden cancellation of his insurance can be something common in America(...and pretty much the rest of the world for that matter) but what I don't understand is this: Like Valmy pointed out, we have to see the issue from Obsidian's perspective as well but still, that sounds extremly hostile to me. Why would they want to revoke his rights to work on any RPG and how is that even possible?!
  4. Halo 2: Anniversary Edition. Loving it! It's a full remake with all the bells and whistles and generally, it is a much more enjoyable experience compared to Halo: CE.
  5. Wow, first time I am reading something like this. Obsidian Entertainment should rename itself to EA Entertainment if they want to continue with such policies. Absolutely disgraceful! Get your **** together, Obsidian! We thought you guys were the last bastion of RPGs and good video games but as it is, it seems you fellas are simply overestimating yourselves. I have more fun replaying Fallout 1, 2, Arcanum etc. than being burnt out on Pillars of Eternity again for the nth time! Based on that I have decided to not waste my money on Tyranny or any other 'would be RPGs' in the future. Shame, but if you want good storytelling and writing that is not filled with cliche that is based on some 20 year old RPGs, just play any of the Yakuza games. Maybe MCA should start writing for the next Yakuza game! Would make more sense...
  6. If the mama cat lets you go near her kitten then there already a huge amount of trust and friendship between you and the mama cat which is not all that easy to build. I've had cats for 6 years now and even I can't tame a feral cat. As for the male cat, I myself came to the conclusion that each cat can have his or her own personality based on what they have experienced during their lifetime, so maybe he is just scared of humans or has a bad experience with them. Nice that you feed the cats btw. The one I found was in the northern parts of Tehran, where the mountains meet the land. The ecosystem there is absolutely beautiful. Birds, cats, dogs, jackals and a whole array of birds that sing different tunes. Unfortunately, the government doesn't do **** to protect any of it.
  7. If they are a pair, the male usually eats last or doesn't eat at all. They usually wait there to protect the female while she eats because they know they are supposed to feed/take care of their kittens. Female cats are usually more interested in food but the male cat doesn't show that much interest in food, especially if they are not hungry. Female cats always are in a hungry mood though. This is awesome. You're a good soul. Thanks bro.
  8. Damn, I forgot that Dark Elves are unplayable as a PC.
  9. Went to work. During lunch break I notice a Jackal hiding under a tree, the poor thing was hit by a car but was still very much alive. Contacted my vet, gathered some co-workers for help, helped the poor thing get inside the vet box. We saved a Jackal, I am just so grateful because I love animals and that Jackal was so cute. Huge love to my awesome co-workers as well.
  10. Lord of the Rings: War in the North is such a fun and laid back game. The presentation is also great, good voice acting, good graphics and on top of that, fun hack n slash combat, lots of loot and armor and a good bit of story here and there. You can also play it cooperatively with 2 people online.
  11. I loved Arcanum. I started the game as a diplomatic/melee fighter Human-elf halfling and towards the end of the game I was unbeatable. I still like to return and replay the game as an evil tech focused dark elf since most of my first playthroughs are usually the pacifist ones. I like how mastering every skill in Arcanum has its own unique quest. Most people say Arcanum is a steampunk game and I wouldn't disagree but for me, it was the dark and mysterious nature of the game that made me fell in love with it. It also didn't shove the steampunk elements in your face... But yeah, give the licence to good ol' beths and they will make every character in the sequel look like something out of a steampunk fan fiction.
  12. I played an hour of FFVI and it sure is a nice game. I wish all games made the tutorial this fun and engaging. I also nooticed that I have Fire Emblem: Awakening on the 3DS but: HA! Good fun! The second part of your sentence is better than any shocker/twist I have seen in recent video games.
  13. I managed to find three of my coolest PC's. The rugged one(Fallout: NV): The cute one(DA: Inquisition): The hippy(Fallout 3):
  14. Hey now, don't be an armchair grognard elitist. At least it wasn't Destiny 2.
  15. I convince my younger brother to by a PS4 and the first games he buys are Fifa 18 and Battlefront 2. Blocked him...
  16. Everybody(including me) are cheering over the ban of loot boxes. A great move. Just remember that we won't be so happy once they apply the same rules to 'violent video games'.
  17. Nah, it's cool.. I mean come on, who hasn't done this already:
  18. I usually go for the 'been there, done that, got the scars' kind of characters in RPGs. Sometimes I create a female character and those usually end up looking rather...melancholic. Skimpy is not my thing, I guess I don't like the idea of NPCs constantly looking up my characters butt.
  19. Downloaded and installed Lord of the Rings: War in the North this morning but didn't get to play it. Now I am back from work and fully rested so I am off to Middle-earth!
  20. Finished Crysis 3. A very enjoyable shooter that lets you play the game in any way you want. Story wasn't particularly good but it didn't stop me from having some fun. I like shooters with a semi open-world design and Crysis 3 does that very well. Each section is carefully handcrafted so you can play around with the enemy in a multitude of ways. You can hunt them with the bow, go guns blazing, set traps, hack mine fields and turrets or use explosive weaponry. I wish Crytek would make a shooter similar to Far Cry/Crysis but in a new setting. For now they are focusing on F2P shooters which is not my thing at all. :/
  21. One thing that I rarely see in any RPG: stores/shops that aren't the very equivalent of a vending machine. There should be a synchronicity between loots and shops. Random loot often destroys this concept though.
  22. Speaking of jrpgs, any of you guys/gals ever played The Last Remnant? I noticed that I own that game on Steam. Also, holy crap! The PSone version of FFVI has sweet sweet FMV movies. I'll take that.
