  1. Devolver Digital teasing the return of From Software's cult classic 'Metal Wolf Chaos': https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-06-08-from-softwares-cult-us-president-in-a-mech-suit-shooter-metal-wolf-chaos-might-be-making-a-return
  2. Agree. Vita also needed to be paired with a console and should have launched a year or two after the PS4 not before it. Sony could have really preempted the switch. Rumor has it Sony is thinking of another handheld, I just hope it comes out after the PS5. Yeah, Death Stranding looks wild. So glad we didn't lose Kojima productions in that whole Konami fiasco. Sony did good. True bad timing for the PS Vita indeed and one very important flaw I forgot to mention: -the PS Vita could only be tied to one account. One of the great features that the PS3/PS4 have is that you can have multiple accounts from different regions on one system and the content gets shared between the accounts on that one system. The PS Vita does not allow that and if you want to log into a different account, you have to either forcefully format the memory card or replace it with another one. I hope Sony won't make similar mistakes in the future.
  3. Sony only made 2 mistakes that I wish they hadn't: -ditched backwards compatibility for PS Now -did not allow the PS Vita to support micro sd cards and the went ahead to kill the system way too early They did a great job of giving developers a chance to make great games though. I am happy that they decided to take Kojima under their wings and allow him to make Death Stranding. I also had a ton of fun with Bloodborne and Demon's Souls, something I couldn't have experienced elsewhere.
  4. I mainly ask this because I was wondering, how many people are there that can enjoy a game like Planescape: Torment as well as a game like Halo 3? Because I do. I play my Fallout 1/2, Arcanum, Drakensang, Incubation, DOOM, Blood etc. but every once in a while I also like to try one of the casual games such as COD, Halo, Skyrim, Fallout 4, Lego Star Wars, AC etc. I also like trying some of the 'bad' games as well, be it Driver 3, Dead Rising 4 or Duke Nukem Forever. Games I can never touch: -weeb visual novels -Europa Universalis, Stellaris, Crusader Kings and such -about 99.99 percent of MMOs -Fifa, Madden, NFL and licensed sports games that were released after 2000 and onwards -Rocket League -Walking simulators such as Dear Esther, Everybody is Gone to Rapture and such... -FTL(and games similar to FTL) -Tower Defense games What about you fellas? How curious are you to play games and where do you draw the line?
  5. Watching 'And Justice For All' together with my cats, they seem to be enjoying it a bit more than I am.
  6. Very neat idea if you ask me, this is something that I felt was lacking in MGS V.
  7. The robots are here, and they are going to steal your chickens!!!
  8. It's the same deal prety much everywhere. Here(Iran), the access to the internet is even more limited but people still buy their PS4 and Xbox One and Nintendo Switch as of recent. Whe have a population of 80-90 million and I can safely say that at least 1 million have a PS4, even if it's only there for a round Fifa, Pro Evolution Soccer or Rainbow Six: Siege.
  9. This e3 is all about Microsoft. They just announced that Crackdown 3 is delayed to 2019. I really want to know how Microsoft is planning to redeem itself because if the lack of exclusives and compete with Sony. They have themselves to blame though, they cancelled Scalebound because they thought it wasn't 'western' enough and Platinum Games simply refused to turn their game into some sort of basterdised version of itself. Is the Xbox management team conducting their researches under a rock? Almost every 'western' gamer I've seen has a love for Japanese games one way or another, be it action-adventure games or traditional/non-traditional jrpgs.
  10. This is why: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/96970-help-me-lose-my-jrpg-virginity/page-1
  11. Yeah, though a lot of people have already discovered that BG&E 2 is not the sequel they wanted or expected. From the looks of it, the game seems to be a MMO hybrid similar to Destiny or The Division. Still, I am curious to see what Michel Ancel is trying to pull off here, he always manages to make great games. I also wish to see more of 'Wild' at this e3, another game Ancel seems to be working on. That game had a very promising trailer and a gameplay footage but I haven't heard anything from the game ever since. I hope it doesn't get canned.
  12. Played some more KotOR and made my way to the lower parts of the city while being diguised as a sith trooper. It is a very rewarding experience if you miss early/mid 2000's rpg. KotOR is among the famous games that I never got to play earlier. Games you probably wouldn't believe I haven't played yet: Baldur's Gate 1&2 Icewind Dale 1&2 Fallout: Tactics Jade Empire Neverwinter Nights 1&2 Diablo 1&2 Dungeon Keeper 1&2 Jagged Alliance 1&2 ... Oh...the shame!
  13. It better, one more 'once it is done' from CDPR and I'll put it next to Star Citizen and BG&E 2.
  14. A whole lot of MMO games and even rpgs go for the doormat thing because you can't have an entire server playing as Geralt of Rivia or Commander Shephard. Even older rpgs use a blank/mute character with little to no text because most of the times, your actions will determine the outcome of an event or a quest. Dialogue trees and voice acting are nice things to have in a rpg, but a MMO... Also, as far as I know, TSW always aimed for a story driven MMO and it pretty much achieves that since most quests turned out to be a little more than a simple fetch quest. A lot of quests involved puzzle solving to the point where the game offers you its own mini browser so you can check the internet for clues. I just wish the gameplay was a bit more action oriented.
  15. The only MMO I ever played was The Secret World. It was a 'buy once, play forever' back then, nowadays it is free to play. Great story and setting, full of great ideas, interesting quests to do alone or with a friend but the major downside: bad controls and gameplay. Fighting is simply not fun. I'd recommend it though, it has a beautiful world to get lost in and it's free!
  16. The guys who were responsible for the Borderlands series have already left Gearbox so I am really curious how Borderlands 3 is gonna shape up. I wouldn't mind another Duke Nukem game, I didn't hate Duke Nukem Forever as much as people did. The shooting wasn't all that good but the atmosphere was spot on.
  17. I pre-ordered the original RDR on the ps3 and it came with a golden gun and a gold pistol that would give you a reputation boost. I think I still have them. But honestly, I don't want RDR2, I just want a copy of RDR for the Xbox. I like Sony and all that jazz but when it is 4K on Xbox One X vs 640p@25fps on the PS3... I gotta find a copy of RDR for the ecksbucks.
  18. Shameless? They implemented the option for 1080p60fps/4K 30fps on the PS4 Pro better than any developer out there. I wish other devs would actually take notes. Keeeping an eye out for The Surge: Complete Edition.
  19. KotOR in 4K These guys must have predicted the rise of the alt-right back then
  20. Finished conquering Kamurocho in Yakuza 0 as Kiriyu, now it's time to beat every club in Sotenbori as Majima. Still a lot to do in Yakuza 0, but this game is as of now in my top 5 together with Fallout 2, Planescape: Torment, Arcanum and Vampire Bloodlines. It simply is one of the best games ever made and worth owning a PS4 for.
  21. ...or maybe it's Hitman 2: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-06-05-hitman-2-logo-pops-up-warner-bros-website
  22. 1.Planescape: Torment 2.Fallout 1/2 3.Arcanum
  23. Either that or they instantly remember a childhood horror: Superman 64!
  24. Funny how Javad Zarif has a YouTube channel, yet his own people are prohibited from using YouTube. How can I get your godsent messages when I can't even watch a 5 minute video on YouTube? Our government is rotten to the core. But hey, it's not our government anymore, it's China's backyard.
  25. Man, that game had so many side-quests it almost made me feel sick! The ending had to be the worst part of the game though. I feel like going back to that game aomeday, I never got to play any of the dlcs. Don't worry, you'll be fine. Save for a few points that can be either skipped or cheesed with traps KOTOR is a fairly easy game. Click on this once you left Taris and reached the next destination, it's just a tip and only a spoiler until you did so: Thanks, bro. I'll bookmark that.
