  1. That's it! I am buying a Wii U. Just saw this.
  2. I don't usually complain when it comes to names and such but Rise of the Tomb Raider is definitely the most stupid name I have heard so far.
  3. Does anybody here know of Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta(which is totally not copying Uncharted and is 10x better than any of the Uncharted games, according to this user-review at least)?
  4. This bundle includes great games(Miasmata, The Longest Journey, Spate etc.): http://groupees.com/bm13
  5. I'll be busy with exams until mid June, but there are a few games I am eager to play this summer: Space Quest Collection - This is the one I am mostly excited about. I have fond memories of playing Vohaul's Revenge back in the 90's. I want to take my sweet time, play every game, go through every possible line of dialogue and solve all the puzzles. Drakensang - Still haven't finished my Drakensang playthrough but so far it has been pretty great. Looking forward to playing this and The River of Time prequel. Expeditions: Conquistador - Heard a lot of good things about this game. Already own it but haven't played it yet. Stalker series - SoC is the only game I have played in the series, can't remember much of the story or the characters. I'll probably replay SoC and play CS and CoP after that. I will also play Wolfenstein: The New Order and Watch Dogs if I get a PS4.
  6. The Activision Sale had everything I needed: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, Gun and most importantly Space Quest Collection. Coincidentally, Return to Castle Wolfenstein also went on sale on the same day which made me a much happier person.
  7. This maybe? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IlAdO5ijuE
  8. Red Orchestra 2 for free(last hours): http://store.steampowered.com/app/35450/ Grab it while you still can!
  9. Retro City Rampage It's great but it's one of those games that plays a lot better with a gamepad which I sadly don't own at the moment. The only gamepad I'm settling down for is a Razor Sabertooth.
  10. Oh joy! Secrets of Grindea should be available for pre-order soon.
  11. Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad(PC) The scale of battles is amazing and team-work really pays off. Planescape: Torment(PC) Storytelling?! Blood(PC) Probably one of the first FPS games that had a equal amount of action, gore, horror and most importantly: BLOOD! Contra III: The Alien Wars(SNES) You could switch between weapons, detonate bombs, ride tanks, bikes and even rockets that are fired straight from a heli! Time Commando(PC, PSX) It had really bad controls but back then it was a lot of fun! Travel through different time-periods, with each of them having their own unique enemies and weapons. Z(PC, PSX, Saturn, iOS) No need to gather resources in this RTS game, just capture a building and hold it for just a bit and it's all yours! Time also plays a major role: The more buildings you have, the faster you can build units. Building stronger units takes more time compared to smaller units such as Soldiers and alike.
  12. Diehard Dungeon. Man this game is so awesome I don't know where to begin. It's like The Legend of Zelda meets Dragon Crytal meets Bioshock.
  13. Have you installed any mods? Install Marts Mutant Mod if you are looking for encounters with tough enemies. Makes travelling the wasteland a lot less boring.
  14. Master Reboot. It's a first-person puzzle game with a surreal atmosphere. There is also a tiny bit of exploration involved which is fun. I like it because the whole thing plays/feels like a dream! Definitely worth checking out if you have enjoyed games like Gone Home or The Stanley Parable.
  15. Prey. I still enjoy playing it after all these years. Here's hoping Prey 2 will crawl out of limbo one of these days.
  16. GTA V on the Wii U:
  17. No, must have been something I said to him. I only mesed with the safe after I was done messing with him.
  18. The Friendly Lending Company wasn't that friendly when I stopped by today. Don't know what I did during my last session but lorenzo was angry, he attacked me, I defended myself, he died, the guards didn't mind, profit! ...and loot.
  19. That happened to me too. I thought to myself: 'Well, the most logical thing to do right now is to head north because it seems to be the shortest way to the strip.' Then I reached Quarry Junction and a single slap of a deathclaw proved that my logic was...flawed, so to speak.
  20. The Thousand Eyes of Dr. Mabuse One of the best crime-movies I have ever seen.
  21. Expanding my empire of stone fortresses and bridges! Just be glad that you are playing the PC version, the ps3 version used to crash every 5-10 minutes after 50 hours of playing.
  22. Castlemier Z. The creative mode is lots of fun but the enemies are pretty damn annoying. Even on the "Easy" mode the enemies can kill you with 2 hits! Some of them have this weird ability to make really long jumps and to add insult to injury, the weapon handling and the gunplay are terrible! The crafting system on the other hand is pretty neat. There is a list of items you can craft and the components you need for crafting, pure and simple! I am playing the Creative Mode. It's fun to build stuff and you always have the option to turn the enemies on/off in case they bother you with your crafting and mining. It's pretty visuals and great art direction vs. bad writing and boring gameplay. PS+ was offering it free of charge to subscribers a few months ago but I couldn't be bothered to finish it.
  23. 'Aveyond: Lord of Twilight' & 'Skyborn' are worth checking out if anybody is interested in 16-bit era jrpg's.
  24. FarCry 3, second playthrough. At this point I think i's safe to say that this game has been the most entertaining FPS since Goldeneye 64. The story still leaves a lot to be desired but that's hardly noticeable when there so much to do and see aside from the story missions and such.
