Dragon Age Inquisition. If you've not tried it yet it's definately a game you can get lost in. Yes. The crafting was the highlight of the game for me.

What are you playing now?
Bought used copies of Killzone 3 and Of Orcs and Men yesterday. Got to play Killzone 3 for a few hours and it sure is an improvement over Killzone 2. The controls are much more flexible now and the set-piece battles are awesome. The story and the characters on the other hand aren't really good but that's hardly noticeable when the shooting is so much fun. Haven't played Of Orcs and Men yet, but the way I know Cyanide Studios, they are pretty good at storytelling(Of Orcs and men was co-developed with Spider Studios though). Looking forward to playing it soon.

I seriously hope someone at Yager Gamers isn't reading this thread.

Dead Island 2
I think he is one of those "I don't care" types. The story trailer is worth checking out.

From what I understand, a different dev team is making DI2. Techland is making Dying Light because they didn't like the direction that the publisher wanted them to take with their second game. Interesting. Dying Light does seem to have more life in it:- Dead Island 2
Yes, about 80 percent of the time you will be using melee weapons. You come across guns every once in a while.- Dead Island 2
I liked the original Dead Island. The crafting was fun, the story and the characters were entertaining, the game world was fun to explore and the gun handling was just awesome! It wasn't exactly easy to hit the enemies but with precise aiming and timing you could take out foes in a very realistic manner which felt very rewarding. I still haven't played Dead Island: Riptide.- What are you playing now?
Fired up Destiny a few days ago to claim my legendary weapon from the post master(it was gifted to players on christmas). It's still pretty much the same experience: grind for gear! The DLC doesn't do much to change that so it's definitely not worth 20 bucks. Back to BFBC2: Vietnam and GTA V.- Pictures of your games Part 5
Playing some GTA V:- Dead Island 2
More gameplay:- What are you playing now?
Bought Battlefield: Bad Company 2 along with the Vietnam dlc during the sales. Man, the Vietnam maps are so awesome! Can't stop playing the damn thing.- STEAM!

GTA V. I really like the addition of the first-person view in the remastered version and Trevor still manages to crack me up.- Bioware, a return to former glory ?
I spent some 60 hours playing DA:I and it has been pretty good so far. I really liked the crafting and mining. There are still stuff I want to craft and it's fun to go around and search for materials. I still expected a little bit more of the story and the characters though. Cassandra, Varric, Leliana and Josephine are fun to have around and chat with but the rest are pretty much forgettable.- What are you playing now?
Battlefield: Bad Company. I bought a used copy of the game and I was wondering if the multiplayer was still up and running. Man, there was soooooo much fun to be had. Best Battlefield game ever and one of the best shooters of all time.- The Funny Things Thread
Snatch Wars!- Dragon Age: Inquisition
Don't forget to leave the Hinterlands...- Dragon Age: Inquisition
I've been playing this for a couple of hours, here are some "Impressions": Pros: -Combat ain't a walk in the park, even on normal difficulty settings. Venture into an unknown area early on and you'll have your butt handed to you. -There are lots of things to do, and even the fetch quests can be fun since they are mostly well presented. -The writing is good. The different books and texts you come across help you understand the lore better and can also unlock quests or show you points of interest on the map. -The visuals look great and different regions you visit on the world map are vast, great looking, atmospheric and finely crafted as there is something going on at every corner but... Cons: -The animations can look awkward sometimes(the walking animations look pretty similar to DA:O on the ps3) and I did encounter a few glitches(when riding your mount for instance)in my first few hours. -I have had my first mount(a horse) and my god does it feel cheap! I'd rather walk or fast-travel, thank you very much! -A very slow and boring start full of clichés you have already experienced thousands of times before. That's it for now.- Rate your 2014 games here!
Unfortunately, I didn't get to to play some of the more important games of this year(Divinity: Original Sin, Dreamfall: Chapters, Wasteland 2). I had some fun with Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls and The Evil Within and that's about it, the rest was either not a 2014 release or simply not worthy of mentioning. ...also this.- What are you playing now?
I was saving my money to buy Dragon Age: Inquisition on launch day but instead I went ahead and bought Tales of Symphonia Chronicles for the PS3. It has the original ToS that was released on the gamecube along with the other ToS game that came out for the Wii a couple of years ago. After spending a couple of hours with the first game I must say that I am really happy with the purchase. I am not into JRPGs that much but this game is unique(gameplay-wise) and the characters have interesting personalities. I also like how unpredictable the plot is, it keeps you hooked to the game.- Dragon Age: Inquisition
