  1. By the lizardman conspiracy.
  2. It's collective control over production and distribution. You can argue what ownership is till your face turns blue, but if you think "anything the state does" is socialism you're illiterate. I don't think he thinks socialism is "anything the state does". His definition is probably "anything the state does that I don't like".
  3. holy **** mage the ascension was right the nephandi are real
  4. nose needs to be bigger for that
  5. lol You may laugh but most white people can intellectualize racism but we dont really understand what it feels like But I doubt you also have experienced real racism? The historical view some Europeans have of East Europeans as being uneducated or uncultured is not real racism because its really not relevant or true ...so I'm not sure if you have other experiences ? I just find the phrase "I have experienced real racism for an entirety of 20 minutes!" to be inherently funny. Carry on.
  6. I find that to be a feature, not a bug. Early Shadowrun (which the game is clearly using as inspiration) always had an undercurrent of wide-eyed naivety. It may not be difficult, but it's at least ridiculously oblique and illogical. Yay.
  7. That's beyond stupid. The health, productivity and general quality-of-life benefits of love, friendship and "beauty" are very tangible and measurable. As for your quantification of love, friendship and beauty. Oh boy, i pity that mindset. What, exactly, is pitiable about the idea that the positive benefits they have on our lives is not just "in our heads", but actually tangible, measurable and provable? You're arguing with a vast body of research that says human relationships and human contact are good for you; why? To score points in a debate by letting you claim that this is some sort of abstract and fuzzy benefit that can't be quantified?
  8. Yet you seem to be quite dismayed at the thought of a unified European culture growing, expanding and subsuming national identities. Why can't we just let national identity die in peace naturally? That's beyond stupid. The health, productivity and general quality-of-life benefits of love, friendship and "beauty" are very tangible and measurable.
  9. This mustn't be seen as a generalization that applies to all Police in the USA, these are more certain incidents and they not the normal behavior of how Police in the USA conduct themselves ...as long as you're white.
  10. lol Try to roleplay as a paladin or champion some time, it's super fun, it's awesome! Yes it is! I love playing paladins (albeit I do prefer rogues and warlocks). But... it's roleplaying.
  11. I'm pretty sure it's a mix of long-since debunked crookery and outright lies. The source with the lowest estimated average IQ I could find for African blacks puts them at 82, and a lot of research into the average intelligence of Asians was either made with tests from the '50s (which are considerably easier than today's versions, because average intelligence is actually on the rise, but the tests have to be re-calibrated so 100 represents the average), or used samples heavily skewed towards upper-income households (and, after controlling for socioeconomic factors, the difference consequently disappeared).
  12. Well that hardly means anything
  13. There's a difference between "everybody is a selfish idiot with no impulse control or long-term thinking" and "people are not altruistic". The second is not particularly realistic, but may be a valid approach of setting presentation, while the first is just edgy for edginess' sake.
  14. I found it to be incredibly grating, for reasons I've more or less elaborated on here. Does the writing get less edgy and one-dimensional later on, or should I just write it off as Not For Me? (Never managed to finish a Fallout game in my life either.)
  15. So what you're basically saying is "it doesn't matter how murky, nebulous and ill-defined our terror watchlist is, since it merely inconveniences those who are on it for whatever murky, nebulous and ill-defined reason".
  16. > has a great set of hair You almost had me until that point
  17. Your disapproval fills me with the warm fuzzies.
  18. The irony on display here is just as delicious as it is staggering.
  19. Your complete inability to identify sarcasm somehow fails to surprise me.
