The bible has some screwy stuff in it; might be best if they don't read it. Come on, the Old Testament is a fantastic guide to living. After all, what would we do without Strong Family Values? Surely everything would descend into gibbering chaos as the last light of virtue and beauty gets extinguished by the nihilist and decadent intelligentsia as they reshape the world to mirror the emptiness that is within their hearts I don't see how that's a bad thing. bu-bu-but western culture and civilization fades away and surely nothing worthwhile could possibly follow it because it's rooted in the deepest truths of the human experience

Well, that picture depicts hell and sin, so i would say that it is quite accurate. > the picture depicts hell > accurate pick one Hell is usually depicted across cultures either as a place of chaotic punishment or as a stage of society being controlled by its vices. I would say that the picture displays that quite accurately. Lucky thing art is subjective, because I ain't seeing either on this one.

Well it used to be, but holy crap am I amazed how utterly terrible the second season is so far.

Yupp, so strong he barely got any votes wait that's totally not what happened. Well, the pressure is only good for shaming in social groups and influencing weak willed people. But in the voting booth you're free to give them all the middle finger. Which is what happened. Its not illogical that there really was pressure and that it also backfired. Those can go hand in hand. Sure, but Chilloutman probably wasn't talking about "your social circle thinks ill of you" levels of 'persecution', and I strongly question that anything beyond that exists outside of the heads of the paranoid.

It's such pathetic demonisation and conspiracy theory crafting that makes me laugh, when Brexit results were announced and now, the desperate need to blame voters who don't align with their own smug elitist positions is always absolutely hilarious. One wonders how such people deal with the real world where not everyone echoes their inane tweeting. Well there are few bits of thruth in those tweets, for example that some people now must hide their political views for fear of being persecuted An irrational fear of imaginary feminist bogeymen coming to take away your rights is not something I'd use the word "must" for.

Kyros is actually competent tho.

So you are suggesting that because the black people within that town of mine do not have to hear the N-word, they're infinitely better off? I'm suggesting that while racial profiling and provoking people into fights are pretty disgusting, at least they're not getting lynched. Progress! So apparently the forum software at my post and I'm too lazy to type that wall of text up again. TLDR: people aren't purposefully censoring racist speech as an end unto itself, they're censoring racist sentiment, of which racist speech is a symptom. Creating an atmosphere where bigotry is frowned upon and yet does not censor itself is only possible if you're unwilling to sanction bigotry in all but its most egregious forms, otherwise bigots will wisen up to the fact that open bigotry gets them punished and learn to hide it.
-
Your naivete is adorable, but I don't think it works that way. We all know how nice it was to be a black person at the time when the expressed sentiments were mainstream.

You see no inconsistency between going from whining endlessly about how "the ebul feminists want to curb ARTISTIC FREEDOM to draw boobies in video games and call us bad names because we like boobs" to whining endlessly about "the ebul politicians talk about consuming ART THAT I DON'T LIKE in private emails and are therefore probably child sex traffickers or something"? "I masterfully baited you to call out my misogyny by behaving in a misogynistic manner! Look at me, such a masterful manipulator I am", he yelled happily.
-
Pointing out that you have the intellectual consistency of an opiate-addled donkey is hardly equivalent to "bearing a grudge" ("like a woman", to boot, because without the subtly implied misogyny it just wouldn't have that special touch), but whatever helps you cope, bruh.

You champion of art and freedom, you. lulwut lulwut would be the proper response to what you wrote. I mean, it started off with the typical 'censor everything that is weird' argument, and then you connected it to kidnapping and satanism. Censor what? Putting accusations of censorship aside for a moment, I do find it kind of ironic that somebody who, in the yonder days of Gamergate, was among those screaming loudest about oppression when someone faced consequences for his choice of attire in a professional environment, is now baying for blood based on a private conversation about the kind of art somebody decides to consume.

That's okay, I just have a hard time seeing the Amazing Animu Archer as significantly worse than stuff like the "Sunder" ability ("I hit him with my greatsword so hard, his armor breaks... but only for 20 seconds, then it's fine again"), something nobody has complained about.

"oh my god, I simply can't take these flashy combos seriously in my super grounded and realistic game about beastmen and world-shaping magic"

So after all these posts on people accusing others of badly supporting facts with narratives personal, and narratives linked to those advertising the facts - I make a bad joke, and link to the first newspaper on google for the uninformed that details those facts - and you stick the middle finger up at my joke to discredit it becasue of the politics of the daily mail. I'm pretty sure he didn't "stick the middle finger up at your joke to discredit it because of the politics of the Daily Mail", he pointed out that the Daily Mail in no way counts as a credible source.

I thought that Pathfinder is rulebook, It doens't have to have certain art style associated with it? In the same sense as Warhammer is a set of rules and theoretically doesn't have to have a certain art style associated with them, but nonetheless there are very strict art guidelines licensees are expected to adhere to. At least that would be my guess.

Volourn is the heart of this forum. That explains so much about the forum.

Not that I'm a fan of Reynolds' work, but I'm not entirely sure how reasonable is it to ask for a game based on a licensed IP to look nothing like the IP in question.
